I hang mineCan you hang with this method? I don’t want the buds to be flat on one side.
Thanks guys
My bags that are 7 days into drying are crisp. They grind, very slight stickiness. Burned nice in a joint. @GratefulBud do you think it would be wise to leave it longer before jarring?
My hygrometer doesn’t fit in the jars. Does anyone know if placing it on top like a lid give an accurate reading of the jar RH? I need to get some mini hygrometers
Have some water curing going on too - kinda regretting it already. Watching the colour and smell leave my buds.
And have a cob fermenting. All for experience sake
Those OMG I’ve ruined it feelzzzzz! For me - the buds felt way over dried and crispy after 13 days in the fridge and I thought 'oh crap I ruined it'.
But I didn't.
I would recommend you get a larger jar or smaller hygrometer. 7 days seems too short and your buds may be too wet after sitting at room temp sealed in jar for a few hours. Watch out for mold. Thanks guys

Right on.@GratefulBud They are still in bags/boxes mate. I haven’t changed anything around yet. The bud does grind well but was waiting for confirmation from the gurus before I done anything lol thanks for the input mate
It happens and it must be part of how it works. Have not figured out the why of it yet. After an hour or two a bud on table at room temp went from crispy to really sticky, found that strange! I know that’s a good thing & meant to happen. Was weird feeling a sticky bud that was bone dry an hour prior though.
It's like a game of "Whackamole"!!!!! Too dry - whoops - still wet - too dry for sure - Nope!!!The buds will feel really dry at first but that can be deceiving. Sealed in a jar with a hygrometer for a few hours will tell you for sure what the RH is.
Do you have a hydrometer??? Going by feel, especially when it is your description, leaves a lot of room for interpretation. They feel crispy still
Even that with plastic wrap over top held securely with rubber bands would give some idea...as long as the vents are exposed to the inside.I have 1 but it doesn’t fit inside the jar.

If you have it isolated from the room's air, wait at 6-8 hours before reading the RH in the jar. It’s reading 80%. The same as RH as room. I don’t think that’s accurate, it feels more dry
