DrZiggy's Low And Slow Drying: Maximizing Your Harvest

Hi Folks. I wish I could have convinced my husband to use the refrigerator method. Fortunately, the weather we good for drying. I have one dwarf White Widow that I am going to do half and half to prove that it works and works better.

My comment is, during the curing stage, I have been putting my jars upside down. It helps slow the curing just enough to boost aroma. Once I jar, I stand them upside down. When burping, I turn right side up, let the weed settle to the bottom, then open. After airing, I gently tumble the jar and return it upside down.
I have been opening once every 48 hours right now on 3 plants.

Hi Pennywise, how are you?
Everyone smells and tastes great.
I really had to be slick getting the drying done and getting it jarred. He would have over dried them.
We even had 4 hermi seeds show up for next season. Lol

We lucked out. No sign of them turning hermi, just 2 seeds on one plant and the other 2 look different and we don't know what plants.
Cut down the WW. Trimmed and rinsed her. I will it most of her in the fridge before bed.

Put 583g of Jack Herrer into the fridge this afternoon!!! Tomorrow I harvest the two gelato og’s. They should fill the fridge and stink up the joint for a few days.

I’m nervous about the smell from the gelatos but my only alternative would be in an outdoor shed. I really didn’t want to take that risk with this amount of flower and the weather is showing three separate days of heavy rain over the next week.

Having dried with this method several times now I know my meds will be safe.

Hi Sctanley007. That is awesome. You had a great harvest.
One thing I know about refrigerators is the sides will get condensation on them if the humidity is high. Try to make the bags not rest against the sides.
Best wishes.

I finally got to try Low and Slow. It's in the fridge since yesterday. It is a small amount about 75 grams. When I put on the shelf of the fridge it was too low humidity. I ended up putting in the drawer. Much better. Now it's 70ish. The smell is really nice.

Thanks for posting but I tried reading that and gave up after a few paragraphs. I scrolled down and found this comment which made me laugh!

"I didn't undetstand a thing you just posted, could you rewrite that in 'dumb ass' please."

I hope someone else on here will read that and report back in layman's terms.
