DrZiggy's 1st Journal Featuring High Brix - LEDs & Cool Strains

I read in a farming journal that there's a causal link between bird song and open stomata. There are even farmers who play tapes of birdsong in order to open the stomata. Don't know if this worx, but we do live in a complex web of factors seen and unseen.

that's cool :)

Taste Report of the Cashew Turtle

The smell...smelled buttery caramel, hot chocolate with whipped cream, the herbal- Beautiful
The crunch of the roasted and salted cashews contrasted nicely with the slighty warm cannachocolate and gooey caramel. The salt on them cut the richness and sweetness of the cannabuttery caramel and chocolate. The cannachocolate made with cocoa, canna cocoabutter, honey lecithin and cannavanilla melted very nicely on the tongue. It did leave more of a buttery feel on the tongue than purchased chocolate.
Taste- Excellent

Actually would have been great with just one. :thumb:

Interesting, I would have thought the hi-acidity/lo-pH would burn the leaves, but clearly that's not the case. Per your (excellent) pix, those leaves are NOT zapped.

Ranger275,
Doc can answer most questions regarding the kits' ingredients and their purpose. He created the Kit.
Im planning on popping some wasabi seeds that I ordered into some unused HB soil. This soil that Doc recommends grows great other herbs, tomatoes. The drenches ( and some mineral teas made for the trees) that I had left over was given to trees in my yard. A few months later a huge difference from untreated trees. Also, a sick holly that had some sort of scale, was getting better; new growth was great and healthy. :)
Minerals...another wonderful thing we have in common with this incredible plant.

^...and bioflora, they have the microherd, we have a herd too; different organsims. :)

Yep - think gut biota - amazing how much of our bodies those critters control.

The girls are doing well! :) Tent smelled stronger today than yesterday. More growth, more budding, buds getting larger- some are size of a clover blossom. Gave GE/Transplant/tea feeding to all but those that got CAT(WN, Mexican, Kwazulu, My Unknown Sats). My dood Colombian is now feeding soil for my ACE strains. :thumb:
I had a question regarding males.. Just curious, Is it possible to push a male to hermie to female? I mean lets be fair here.. :)

The Kwazulu stem smell, which I touched, is unique to any Ive smelled before. Weedy but a very nice fresh roasted earthy smell. Hard to describe.. Will be interesting to smell the others and all the buds when ready :)
Pictures later

Should I be addressing this grow presently veg or flowering? Plants are only 3-5 weeks from seed (11/13) with most of the plants, yet they are flowering..should I be treating them as if in veg, in flower, or a combination(thats what they are doing) when its feeding time?

Also, a few leaves on a couple of plants are healthy but were damaged when I fimmed. Was supposed to be topped. -Good thing I dont do circumcisions...:)
Should I leave on? Theyre green and healthy, which means theyre functuoning, just not whole.

If they are throwing out pistols I would treat it as in flower, its going to keep growing you should still get a stretch period.

Leave the damaged leaves they wont hurt anything, I have sucked a whole branch up in the wet/dry vac before by accident and it was fine :) Also I have done the same thing when topping your talking about it will look a little funny but will be fine, remember happy accidents

you should switch your light schedule to 12/12 for bigger plants and a better yield.

The time of veg/flower "combination" or transition phase into flower for autoflowers I think, would the main time you would keep treating your plant as a "veg" plant until the stretch was done and buds were set. for photoperiod plants once you see pistils I would treat it as flower...:)

Loving the updates and journal Dr Z:cheertwo::thanks:

What up b.real!

Have you done a side by side of 11/13 to 12/12 or a diminishing light schedule to determine 12/12 gives better yields?? ive never recorded the diff on paper to see although I have done all the above...just curious what you found I always hear it diff ways?
:peace::high-five:
