I worry for nothing your buds look like mine do. Hahaha the very tip top of yours was crispy too..... Maybe I didn't do so bad after all here's some pictures of her tops. By the way I just had them in their jar to check the humidity because like I said it was a little crispy. The humidity read 85% so I'm letting them dry a little more until it gets to 70 then I'll burp them down to 58.

Oh yea I told you the buds got crisp on her at the very tips but after 3 days in the dark with a .5gl a water a day, they were much softer to touch again. That happens bud. Def too high at 85 no mold!!! I like mine to sit at 62 but that's me. 58 is always cool. I just have so much I don't use it fast enough so I like to keep my buds a little more moist

You know what I think my problem was my very low relativity humidity. I did not take an account for that and I should have deducted a couple days instead of 7 days I should only did five. I think you so much for your advice. All in all everything's going to be okay. Good job looks very very funky I might say..

The proofs in the pudding, happy testing Marcus!

That is a fine quad squad. I never managed to get many large cola's until I adopted the practice. I had spoken in the past with @StoneOtter about the correlation between quad-lining and large cola's and I believe he thinks it helps.
Funny I work so hard getting the big fat bracts, only to downsize them for drying/curing. :hookah:
Focusing on the bud we want and removing the ones we don't is the key to bigger bud success in my garden. Getting the lowers off, (Shedding;)) or lollipopping is a big part of it too. Quadding for the win, though I'm a beginner quadsman myself.

@Krissi1982 ,

A few of us are discussing quadlining over on @Kanno26 's thread. He's trying it out on his grow and asking some great questions about quading starting here.

I can't wait until he gets into flower and we suggest he draught his plants. ;)

He's going from a new grower to semi-pro ball in one season!

Anyway, check out his journal and you'll get to see quading start to finish as it happens.

Funky he says. You're so funny. Low humidity dries up faster for sure how low?

Absolutely!!

Thanks Stone, so now we are a quadlining and drought thread lol
Well said STONE ;)
I agree

Awesome!! You rock AZ! @Kanno26 I'm coming for you soon to be master grower! I want to see!!

It's the best way to fill a tent ! If you go back to my drought pics here , you will see I made "two plants" from one and used my entire 2x4 tent
Have you seen my tents? If I made 2 of all of them I'd need to greenhouse my entire house

When I do a grow with less plants, eventually, I'll be on board

just saying. :snowboating:
One of these days we will be quadding side by side friend.

Guys, I missed my droughting window with my monster crop reveg of my Amnesia, Ammy Jr.

I didn't realize this was happening so fast.

Wondering if the droughted monster crop already has droughted info from her Mama stored in her GNR and DNA now that her Mama was droughted (my 1st, actually)

She's looking like this today so only a couple more days I'm thinking.

I'll document Limelight who is a NYC Diesel next week!!

just thot i might post an updated pic,, in completely natural light this time,, no adjustments. really wanted to show the change in colour of the leaves,, just like one might expect,, totally from the bottom up, just sucking as much energy from the leaves as it can

day seven of the drought today. i gave a tiny bit of water last night, being careful to give the supplemental water at different areas in the pot, to keep some of the plant starving but providing relief for others and the whole plant in general

P1180195.JPG

there was quite a dramatic yellowing yesterday going into today,, later in the drought the affects will become more dramatic, i might suggest

peace out friends
What's up with the Pearl in the bud

What's up with the Pearl in the bud
Well. I put it there so i could take a close up of the trikes before i started the drought

Nnow i can take a photo of the finished product close to the same spot

For comparison purposes

But seriously.. Everything looks better with pearls on

drought day #9

no water at all for about 36 hrs or so,, give or take a whole bunch. i was actually thinking i might have given a bit too much supplemental water ing, cuz it was lookin so good/ish yesterday

today there is orange, shrivelling and leaf droop. perhaps a touch of water, as in perhaps one cup tonight, and that will be the last.

P1180195b.jpg
P1180196.JPG

pretty much 48 hrs between pics

also,, a pic of the leaf droop so far,, interesting to watch the leaf droop work it's way up the branch, just like the yellowing

also interesting is the thot that it is important which leaf one chooses for deciding when done is done,, a leaf lower on the branch will wilt sooner than a leaf higher up on the branch

P1180197.JPG

i note the pic in the study shows a leaf on a branch that is lower on the plant, so, i dunno

i figure if i do not water for 48 hrs from now that might be a bit too long,, so one more cup of water, then a generous nute free watering on wednesday

ok then,, peace out friends

i hope whoever is in hempy is taking noted from you! This is going very well Niv! Your documentation is very thorough and again, much appreciated!

Next up for us here is Limelight, my NYC Diesel. She is looking like drought needs to start so I'm gonna finish off with her regular feed today and begin drought tomorrow. I may not be on here one day because I'm going to be trimming my Amnesia monster crop so don't hate me.

LIMELIGHT NYC DIESEL: PRE DROUGHT

LIMELIGHT DAY 1 DROUGHT: PLANT PICS TRICHOME FOCUS

So we are starting off this drought with another sugary and short chunky lady like we had in Onyx. I find that these girls last longer and handle droughts better than their taller sisters.

I was going to wait until next week but she seems to be finishing up and I didn't want to miss another droughting window. This is my last @Weed Seeds Express plant in my Amazon journal so once she is done, that journal will be complete minus some cure shots of course...

But anyway let's start today off with these shots and I'll be back later with actual trichome pictures

Let's see how long she will go!

Thanks for following another droughting story!
