At least you can kick off another grow in the tent when they are done, once mine are done my balcony is bare except for the empty pots. It always seems rather sad when all of the sudden the view I've been used to is gone and I have to wait for next Spring to start again. :(
If it makes you feel any better, I have to take off for a few weeks so everything is coming down-both tents. For a few weeks, nothing crazy like you waiting until next spring but definitely won't be happy! I know it isn't half as bad as not seeing that beautiful balcony filled up but I figured it would help just a little :(

Anyways I'll try to get pictures tonight from foxtails and then I will label it foxtail if I can it's so fucking hard to do that shit. And then I will zoom in on a calyx that has the orange hairs and I will label that. On my beginner's log

I don't think these are pictures of foxtails because of it was wouldn't foxtails be clear? These look pretty damn cloudy to me with some ambers. Hell maybe it's my damn eyes I don't know maybe I just don't know what the hell I'm looking at. I would think that a foxtail would be clear trichomes.
But you are right about the white hairs most of them are from foxtails I think the rest of the shit looks really orange and shit. Who knows it is what it is time will tell.

OK so I feel like I'm looking at trichomes on the leaves here rather than the flowers. So I'm gonna start off with that. With that said, the leaves are usually pretty amber when it is time to pull and at that point, in my own personal observation of my grows, that I find about 30% amber on my flower which is when I like to pull. In addition, I was told recently by @Rexer I believe, that when judging readiness, we should gage that from the calyxes, even moreso than the flower buds themselves. So, maybe try to get a pic of the buds and calyxes and let's re check!

Damn so where's the calyx? I thought the bud itself wasn't nothing but a calyx

I know one thing's for sure the last time I watered Clementine was the Mar 1st at 8:00 p.m. and the last time I watered Judith March 2nd at 7:30am

Hey Krissi you know how big my plants are in my log. Well before Shed had put me down on game I was using this spray bottle and you see where the line is that's how much water each one of those got every 3 days. Sometimes their leaves will be wilting way down evidently because I wouldn't giving them enough water so maybe I already had them in a lightweight drought before. Hahaha maybe that was why they was already so Frosty. Hell I don't know but they've been without water now for a longer. But ever since Shed had me to feed them with a gallon of water each time they just exploded.

GIGI DAY 5 DROUGHT: PLANT SHOTS AND ANOTHER ATTEMPT AT THE LWA APP

Needless to say, from the picture we have been using to gage Gigi, she is about to be done. Works out well as I'll post her trichie shots in just a few minutes, as she is about done there as well!

She is showing even more discoloration and a much more apparent heavy sagging of the leaves as well.

She is unbelievably sticky and I am super excited for this particular droughter. Her THC levels were very high to begin with so I anticipate a nice energetic but medicinal smoke from her!

Yeah but good God your plants is almost five times as big as mine maybe that I definitely crown you queen of the indoor bud

GIGI DAY 5 DROUGHT: TRICH SHOTS

Well guys as noted above that is was probably time. It's exactly that time based off of these shots. @marcus611a, I went ahead and grabbed one from a foxtail and made sure to get one with a flower next to a leaf so you could compare the trichs like we talked about.

I also wanted to point out as @Maritimer mentioned a couple days ago, she pulled the trichomes basically from some of those leaves and built them onto her flower as you can tell from the one picture in particular.

I want to thank everyone for following Gigi and if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to finish out with some of Onyx as she is still in the process of finishing up. Tomorrow will be day 6 for her!

If anyone has questions as to why I would have pulled anyway based off of her leaf picture alone, please don't hesitate to ask. The trichomes would have pulled me from the drought, regardless if Gigi's leaves showed me she could continue on

She does look ready.
Yea I don't want her to be but I've got more seeds of her so I will relish in her smoke before I drop another one of her in a few months!

I don't think you would clog up anything just add value Marcus. I'll get over there this morning after I get situated here at the house

I mail mine to a place in SF for analysis, so all you need is a smell-proof bag and ship it priority mail and you should be good.

Sugar leaf trichomes go amber way before calyx ones.
Hell yeah I got a lot of Amber on my leaves. And I got some on some of the calaxes. I'm going to keep on getting more and more pictures man and labeling as time goes. Also that picture right there where the brown hairs are turning in on it that's basically the pictures I've been trying to take. Foxtail pictures are very easy to get. So I'm going to get more of my calaxes off the top of Clementine and one of the main tops of Judith tonight

Awesome thank you Shed!

Hey again guys and gals I said I would continue on with Onyx as she finishes so I'm gonna drop some pics and be back with trichome shots tonight. I'm thinking she has moved along rapidly overnight into this afternoon.

ONYX DAY 5 DROUGHT: PLANT PICS, SUGAR FOCUS

She continues to have many turgid leaves but some are beginning to bend. Her need for cal mag is showing as it was a couple days ago and a few leaves have began yellowing because of the drought rather than her color change yellow we have been seeing. You notice it most on the leaves that remained green, obviously...her sugar is packing on and she is pulling further away from the pot
