Thank you so much for sharing this with us and I apologize for my absence to here as of late. I am so excited to say that next week we drought Gigi, my Gorilla Glue X Super Lemon Haze!! I will be documenting day by day here for all of you to follow along!I tried droughting my Toxic Cookies hempy with two 5 day droughts then another water and harvest 2 days later, today. I would have gone longer than 5 days but I needed to do 2 flushes, which could be a problem droughting using synthetics if a flush is needed.
Errrr, you sure? Seems kinda extreme.Just don't feed it any water at all the entire time from now on!!
Errrr, you sure? Seems kinda drastic.
Eureeka, right!! If you thought it was frosty before jk please water and feed your plant until its timethanx Krissi
She's a cutie Burk!! Seems to have recovered just fine. Our earliest droughter ever! Here’s that “droughted “ seedling now 2 weeks later
I wonder what gets "enhanced" by draughting a plant this early. In flowering plants it's the trichomes. For a seedling? Maybe its hopes and dreams. She's a cutie Burk!! Seems to have recovered just fine. Our earliest droughter ever!
Personally I have had some experience with early droughting, albeit unintended! But I think when it is purposefully done it needs to be carried out during flowering to create the extra required potency.I wonder what gets "enhanced" by draughting a plant this early. I'm no expert, but that looks like a bit more than the recommended LWA.Personally I have had some experience with early droughting, albeit unintended! But I think when it is purposefully done it needs to be carried out during flowering to create the extra required potency.
Here's a pic of a couple of plants from a previous grow of mine that received no water and no rain over a period of 7 days of being away. The all recovered fine and went on to allow me to harvest about 23 ounces of cured buds from that particular balcony grow with the addition of a Gorilla Glue auto kicked off later.

On that particular grow I purposefully denied the plants some watering towards the end of flowering, it was not full droughting but semi. And in hindsight when compared to my following grow (last year) when I didn't carry out any droughting, I couldn't help thinking that the buds of the semi droughted grow came out more potent. This year I am intending to carrying out as much droughting as I can on the girls of my current grow.@Stunger Do you have any harvest or pre harvest pics?!
Wow, those are some beautiful plants!Anyway, here is a link to the final picture post of that particular grow shown in the wilted pictures above, shortly before harvest here.
I'm so glad that you were able to notice that. Omg and these were your quadlined as well? I have been asked to quad, may do it next grow. I have one kind of doing it herself right now. I still haven't figured out the green here function or I'd link it lolAnyway, here is a link to the final picture post of that particular grow shown in the wilted pictures above, shortly before harvest here.
Agreed! Wow!!Wow, those are some beautiful plants!
Here's what I posted in another thread:I still haven't figured out the green here function or I'd link it lol
Yes from 2 years ago, those were quadlined. Last year I quadlined 1 and LST'd 2 others. This year I hexlined a Mulanje, and LST'd the other 3. I think next year I will solely hexline them as I now feel they might be a bit easier to manage with the limits of space on my balcony than LST only. Cheers!Omg and these were your quadlined as well? I was laughing so hard because my head was nodding the whole time but not pulling it up I couldn't see it so I originally hit 'Haha' not 'Thank You' but now that I see it and the chain bar and am doing the motions, I get it....I think!!! See how I do HEREHere's what I posted in another thread:
And the link thing is easy. When your new journal is up and running, just click on the 3 connected dots in the green banner at the top of that first new journal entry. Double tap the url (the web address) and that will give you an option to copy it to the clipboard. Click "copy." (pressing "control" and "c" at the same time will also copy it it the clipboard if the double click thing doesn't work for you for some reason in this first step).
Then, you come back to this thread and, in a new post, click on the "chain link" in the grey banner at the top of the box you're typing in. That will bring up a box with two entries. One to copy the url into and the second to name it whatever you want. To paste the url, single click the url box entry to place your cursor there and then do a long click and the word "paste" will come up, or press "control" and "v" at the same time and that will automatically stick it in there for you.
And presto change-o you're swimming in clover.
Awesome I never heard of quadlining nonetheless hexlining until a few weeks ago and just now! Thank you again!Yes from 2 years ago, those were quadlined. Last year I quadlined 1 and LST'd 2 others.
