Dresney's First Grow - Organic - Indoor - GDP - Trainwreck

Easy on the humidity dome there, that's not part of my procedure.

Yeah, I decided to go my own way with Loretta. She dried up really quickly and probably would be dead right now without the dome.

She wasn't the strongest cutting when I took her. Her leaves were very thin - she came from deep in the foliage where she didn't get enough light. I feel like it's been an uphill battle since the beginning.

That dome you have with that inverted cone has me thinking the inverted part will constantly drip water onto the clone....

The dome doesn't drip on her. It's usually not as wet as it is in that picture; I had just sprayed it. The bottom of the dome is propped up on one side and it gets pretty dry in there in a couple hours. If I don't spray it at least twice a day it's totally dry, which I kind of like. Makes it easier to control the humidity.

Your plants look lovely! You have a new sub! :MoreNutes::popcorn:

Welcome! So glad to have you. :passitleft:

My plants and I thank you for the compliment. I swear they perk up and give off extra strong whiffs of skunk every time someone says they're pretty. :partyboy:

Hey Dresney, hectic and fun over here as always :) I just did a version of the Jay flip flop cloner, only Im using an solar powered onimental pump to spray and drop to cause bubbles. Hoping it works as if so, ill need more as been asked to set some friends up with some clones. Best of luck with all your DIY I know you will kickass as usual :)

Thanks, LA! Solar-powered... what a great idea! I'm crazy about being 'green'... aside from growing. :laughtwo: I am definitely going to look into this. Thanks for the tip and the compliment. ;)

All the girls are looking splendid, Dres! I'm betting little Loretta will pull through, no problem. Seriously, your thumb is so green, if be stuck speechless for a week if one of these ladies died under your care. Keep up the great work, and good weed to you!

Thanks, Dawn. I have my fingers crossed, but she's been a runt since I cut her off. I was being cautious taking a non-premium branch because I thought it would surely die in all my noobness. Now that I see how hard she is fighting to stay alive I feel confident that I'd have no issues if I would have taken a stronger cutting. Maybe she'll surprise me and thrive. I hope so!

Your plants and their babies are looking amazing, Dresney. :thumb:

:goodjob:

Thanks, Mono! :surf::bongrip::rollit::passitleft:

A short update for the big girls today.

I forgot to water them on Sunday (I know, I know). They didn't look one bit sad about it though, so I compromised: skipped the regular watering (Sunday) and fed them a day early (usually Wednesday).

So they went 6 days without water and didn't have any droop at all.

Today they were fed 15 ml Super Plant Tonic, 30 ml Grow It Green, 15 ml Flower Power mixed into a gallon of water. They each got half a gallon.

Here's a nute ingredient reminder:

Super Plant Tonic - Artesian Spring Water, Worm Castings, Mycorrhizal Fungi, Azomite, Unsulphured (Blackstrap) Molasses, Endo and Ecto Bacteria, and Humic Acid

Grow It Green -NPK of 5-2-5- Artesian Spring Water, High Nitrogen Bat Guano, Worm Castings, Azomite, Unsulphured Molasses, Humic Acid, Beet Root Extract, Comfrey Hay Extract, Alfalfa Meal Extract, Endo and Ecto Bacteria

Flower Power -NPK value of 1-8-7- Artesian Spring Water, Fossilized High Phosphorus Bat Guano, Fossilized High Phosphorus Seabird Guano, Worm Castings, Azomite, Unsulphured Molasses, Humic Acid, Beet Root Extract, Comfrey Hay Extract, Alfalfa Meal Extract, Endo and Ecto Bacteria

They only have one more veg feeding before the flip! I'm so happy about going 12/12. I've been feeling like 1/1 was never going to get here.

Also, I got my fan and mounted it. I bought some flexible ducting, but haven't installed that yet. I took Rico's idea and got some loose carbon and some mesh bags. I'm going to see how well my own carbon filters will work. I don't care if there is a little odor; I just don't want to smell it upstairs.

I also got everything I needed to make a bubble cloner. I might take some clones either tonight or tomorrow since I just fed the girls. We'll see what time I get home from this Christmas-birthday bash.

Have a great day, everyone!

Happy holidays!
