Seriously, Norton and McAffee have major system issues and IE has always been the most insecure browser. As a disabled IT executive specializing in systems design and development and computer security, you will want to change those over if you want your computer secure and less prone to malicious software. Firefox or Chrome are better, I'm using firefox right now and Avast and AVG are both better antiviruses (and both have free versions for home users and students :D )

I have both Norton and Firefox is my web Browser and have had no problems yet:)

Norton tends to dig into some of the subsystems which can cause instabilities. Usually affects you most when you're running a lot of games or with various P2P and streaming protocols... It's better than it was in the late 90's, but still has issues for a lot of gamers and programmers. Firefox has always been my default goto, well since it came out and stabilized, but the Konqueror based browsers (Safari and Chrome and such) are good too.

So far it's been a good Skunkday Fishy, my Mystery Machines look like they're going to stack on some nice colas and the Dynasty is just all full of pretty little flowers and my surprise Blue Hash seeds sprouted through the coco this morning... and I'm playing catchup on the forums, listening to Monster Quest while my girl snoozes on the couch. :D :Namaste:

download advanced system care6, it will solve all your problems, very easy to use, one button to click it just says scan, click and it fixes all problems on your computer, i can provided product key for advanced version, not gotten illegally though so dont think that, but i use that software and it fixes every damn problem,

for security software their is one you can get with that advanced sytem care6 called malware fighter, these programs are top rated in all the comp mags so dont think im fobbing you off with stuff i have found online, its all top rated and comes much higher than software you can even buy, so id download advanced system care6, uninstal the programs you are currently using for virus protection and use something like microsoft security essentials, again its totally free and comes top in the computer mags for been one of the best virus protections around, comes higher than the paid from software.

i can provide links if you need them, advanced system care will really speed things up, i had huge problems with internet explorer but when i ran that software my laptop is quicker than it was when new, so its worth a try, norton and avg are not worth it even if its free, its bogs any computer down, full of glitches and problems, my mom got it free with her laptop and it was so damn slow, so removed it for her and installed microsoft security essentials, her laptop is now very fast and dont lag at all when switching between programs.
 
advanced system care does pretty much everything, with the pro version you only get 2 extra features, but what i found interesting is the uninstal feature on it, if you use that to uninstal instead of the one in control panel then you see all the crap programs leave behind after you uninstal them, some leave 100's of lines of code in the registry so advanced system care is one of the best programs i have come across, not heard of avira but ill check it out, ive not found anything as good as ac6 yet,
if you go through all the options in the tool box on ac6 then you can really speed up a slow system, if even lets you set the ram to work at its best so if you play games you can set the ram up so its best for games or if you dont play games choose the other option and it stops stuff running thats not needed, it really boosted my laptop up, i was going to get a new laptop but now ill hold onto this one, its better than it was when new
