I have a seed thats starting to break freeQuestion is when I put her into a pot should I start with lime in the soil sprinkeld as powder or should I crush it an mix it in Also what else will make my little baby happy in her big home?I no its a little pre pot an the bean has a little way to go but i just whant to try an give her the best I can with as little spent as possible BUDGET & austerity being the order in wich my grows have to abide by(unfortunately)
I might not be about to much a little trouble in the air

I would mix all your amendments in the soil and let it cook for a bit. that should keep you square through out the grow

Unless you are going high brix and trying to feed the plant through its life with a hot soil I would not give your seedlings any nutrients. I am using a terrible vendor who has great soil... Happy Frog. I have used no nutrients on the most recent starts. I won't use any till after the next transplant. You can see them here A New Top LED Panel for Testing

Unless you are going high brix and trying to feed the plant through its life with a hot soil I would not give your seedlings any nutrients. I am using a terrible vendor who has great soil... My happy frog takes me a month...easy......with no nutrients, it's a good starting soil and I'm getting ready to drop 18 clones in it.

when you say the soil needs to cook well that scares me a bit, I am geminating a girl at the moment so fist she will go into the soil as it is but when she gets transplanted I was thinking to mix lime an whatever else may be recomended??? I am using for me the fav method of a cup of water I think she may go in the soil by tonight cause I can see a little white toe coming out

Both but I am waiting on the seeds to pop. see Dharma sometimes things go wrong and it is just the way it goes. I soaked some seeds thursday or wednesday cant remember but nothing has happened and they were not cheap either so I started soaking a Kandy Kush and have got that in a cup of soil so we will see
