It will all go through the rosin press, so nothing will be wasted. Trimming is much easier too, as I don't need to manicure the buds for smoking. I leave the sugar leaves intact, and just remove the fans.
 
@Old Salt would you mind taking a look at my plant? It’s going into 9 weeks flower and the itch to harvest her is intensifying with each passing day. seeing your recent harvest gave me the fever lol

The long vegetating time, and low temperatures combined to make this a long grow. The size of the plant caused it to grow too close to the light, so the tops of the colas are light burned. I should have staggered the harvest to get the best out of this plant. Mistakes aside, I did manage to grow an outdoor sized indica indoors. Chances are I won't do this again as I intend to move my grow into two 2' x 4' tents.
 
Hi, it’s me again, so I was checking my plant, what I thought might be new buds turn out to be balls, 9 weeks flower, any suggestions there @Old Salt? And or anyone else, 1st grow and all and found a hermie I believe.

Getting rid of the pollen sacks is a normal response, dependent on how viable-many- or time till harvest. It can be surprising how much pollen some "banana's" have, other option as Chris said is a few seeds in your bud.
 
The pistils indicate that the harvest window may be open. I'd check the trichomes on the affected colas, and if they were close to being ready harvest just those colas.

Hey OS how is it going? I am just wandering in with a question if I may. I see from my searching that you’ve run reservoirs with M Crop.

I am going out boating for two or three weeks. The caretaker I had lined up has ‘fallen in love’ ( Bah! Humbug I say!) and flaked out on me. So now the trip is postponed, I am ordering supplies to set up an auto watering system for my plants.

For flowering this will include two 50 gallon barrels of water premixed with Mega Crop. I will also add Z7.
Do you think this premix situation will present any issues for me? Any crazy ph shifts or settling to worry about in your experience? I’m not worried about any fittings clogging as I am going to just run open quarter inch lines to the plants on timers.

Sorry for the delay. There's a lot happening here with covid, the massacre, and the loss of a locally based military helicopter.

I've mixed Megacrop up to a week in advance without any problems. I asked the manufacturer how long it lasts when mixed, and got the answer 'weeks if not months.' I think you'll be fine for up to a month.
 
ya That’s some unreal stuff, I imagine your community hasn’t been the same since. North of me for a few hours is flooding right now. Thousands evacuated, as if the world doesn’t have enough to worry about, then crazy stuff like what happened down there or in fort Mac on top of it all...
