GDP #1 & GDP #3: Pre and Post Chop

Looking good so far. There's a lot more purple than I saw under the lights. I'll dry them in the tent, and jar when ready.

I thought I would drop by to see how your reversing is going but I am lucky to drop by at harvest. Good job sir, nice looking frosty beauties.

I am not sure I will try reversing again because since trying my allergies have gone berserk even with the filtered dome I had it in. It might have been a coincidence. I don't have to decide right away because at the rate I use my seeds up at with only 4 plants and cloning I have a few years worth.

Anyway again congrats on the plants and hope all is well.

Jiusion 40 to 1000x Magnification Endoscope

I'm fairly certain there is an IOS version. They do have a WiFi version available with higher resolution. I cut a small piece of bud from the plant and take the image at my desktop. The stand it comes with on the right is not stable enough to focus the microscope properly, so I bought the optional stand. I have to remove the protective collar as shown at higher magnifications. I bought through Amazon. The descriptions are below.

Jiusion 40 to 1000x Magnification Endoscope, 2MP 8 LED USB 2.0 Digital Microscope, Mini Camera with OTG Adapter and Mental Stand, Compatible with Mac Window 7 8 10 Android

Jiusion Aluminium Alloy Universal Adjustable Professional Base Stand Holder Desktop Support Bracket for Max 1.4" in Diameter USB Digital Microscope Endoscope Magnifier Loupe Camera (Aluminium Alloy)

I am shocked you are getting such great trich pics with such an inexpensive unit. I figured you had a good brand digital SLR camera with a macro lense that cost a small fortune. Good find.

GDP #2, Before and After Light Defoliation

It's been a busy week, but I got around to a light defoliation from the top down. I just took the biggest fan leaves, and some that were blocking the light from other buds. I left the bottom leaves below the buds alone. I think the plant will drop them when they are of no more use.

GPD #1 and GDP #2 are in the other tent drying, and aren't ready to be jarred yet. Drying temp is at 18°C / 64°F with a humidity of 49%.

Hay I am just subbing in here at the last of your journal. I will take a seat in back and wait for your next Grow Show. Beautiful plants and congrats on the harvest

GDP #1 & GDP #3 were only rough trimmed as they are destined for the rosin press. The STS treated branch of GDP #1 was picked apart to recover the seeds and discarded. Only five seeds were found. Hopefully the remainder of the tent will have many more.

GDP #2 continues its slow march to harvest. The dead and dying leaves were removed. They did not turn yellow, as with many nutrient lines, but stayed green, and just dried up. I attribute this to the nitrogen in Mega Crop. There never was a deficiency to cause the leaves to yellow. The lime green stripes on the leaves are where they were shaded by other leaves.

It's been a busy week, with three storms depositing wet, heavy snow. That was cleared up, and I pressed a little over a pound (513gm) of dried flower to get 58gm or just over 2oz of rosin. I'm almost caught up with my previous harvests.

I need to find filter bags for the 40mm bottle tech Dabpress mold. Their 2.5" x 4.5" bags are too small for the pucks, and the 3" bags are not available. I'll source them elsewhere. The 40mm mold should just about cut the time I spend pressing in half, as I'm currently pressing 7gm / 30mm pucks. This week I pressed 76 pucks. Each puck takes about eight minutes to form, press, and recover the rosin. That was well over ten hours at the press.

Trichomes Near Bottom of GDP #2

Other than feeding at 5.5gm Mega Crop per US gallon, I've done nothing this week. It ;ools like another week or two until harvest. Did you notice that there are fewer trichomes on the lower buds?
