Dr Bob Comes Home With Fruit Punch & Lemonista Aid - So Please Don't Be Critical

Nice frosty nugs Bob! Those digital microscopes are the only way I can tell when trichs turn. Unfortunately I have to chop a bud to check because I don't have a laptop. That may have to change. :high-five:

looking great. do you like plastic or fabric pots more?

Well I have a bit of a connudrum on that front. I like using the felt pots, easy to tie to, are shaped nice to fit with each other, etc but the truth is that the biggest girl in the tent may turn out to be the Fruit Punch in the plastic pot. Which is also over a gallon smaller. To be fair that may have to do with my totally unplanned LST methods that don't always make everyone come out even to say the least.

More research needed.:thumb:

I did that up until Christmas when it was a present! Kinda nice just to turn on movie capture, go film a bunch and then go through frame by frame to see what you got. Hard to keep it still to check freehand so to speak.

:Namaste:
Bob ;)

I am feeling rather odd this evening, so for giggles, lets do this backwards!

Now I would think a Dr such as yourself would know the difference. Where did you go to med school there buddy? :hookah::circle-of-love:

Your dang tootin' we have room for you as an expansion to the viewing room and refreshments table have just been completed. Have a brownie! I have really high hopes for the critical kush. She is really putting on the chunk now. I was over at your journal and those white widow x big bud are to die for. I am wrecked on a big bud of it right now as a matter o fact. :thumb: :welcome:

Nah, don't bother. Mine looks like someone used a blender full of pink smoothie right next to it and SPLATTER! Oh, wait. I did that. :circle-of-love:

You shit green? See, I had no idea the Jolly Green Giant and his kin shat green. Learn something every day on this site. :thanks:

I have coconut milk, but am fresh out of lactobacillus juice. They might have it at the Choke 'n Puke but I doubt it. Now malted barley I have in giant sacks. 50 pounds or so. So check to that at least.

This list of stuff is getting extensive PeeJay. I am still attempting to aquire that "transgender tea" you suggested. Been wicked hard to track down.
:cheesygrinsmiley::bong:

I told you don't bother. It will just get dirty again the next time you take it downstairs to mix soil in the garage and can't think of where to put it. So, logically you put it down in the bin of flower soil since your doing veg this time anyway so you won't really be picking it up or anything and it gets all dirty all over and the fan tries to suck it all in.... oh wait...that was me too.:blushsmile::winkyface:

Just me! :slide::slide::slide: and the girls of course, but they have no choice with all the fans on them. Here, this goes well with popcorn :volcano-smiley:

Not every time, just snacks you could say when I sense the need or am feeling generous. On the flowering girls none got it this last time. On the veg side I gave some to the Strawberry Blue and the Money Maker this watering but they honestly likely didn't need it. 1.5 tablespoons I think cut into the top. Easy peazy lemon squeezy. At some point or another every plant of my 8 going have had a snack. I have had essentially no leaf yellowing in the flower tent 30 days in. I really love this stuff. I won't go without it in my toolbox again for sure!

Take a hit off this and pass it to PeeJay. :rollit: :high-five:

:cheesygrinsmiley: Great outlaw move there. Hopefully Marsellus didn't go mid evil on your ass for that one. And I am already excited for that moment and my bag isn't packed to go yet. The swell has begun and it could be an amazing homecoming. It will be hard to relax until I see them again.

But I have my Bermuda shorts ready to go and frosty drinks will be consumed in your honor! Oh, this made it around already, oh, there are two, three going around? Nice ! :blunt::grinjoint::passitleft:

Seems the garden made it up to PG13 recently. I like it. Over at Dennise's there were naked strippers earlier so we haven't quite made it to an R rating yet.

But, Ciscokid, with that simply sublime request, how can I do anything but welcome you with a :welcome: a double brownie, comfy chair and Bud Porn
Tonight the girls in flower town just look so happy there wasn't much to do but smell, look for nanners (none) and enjoy.

Thanks everyone for coming by and visiting. Made Play Doh today! Squishy fun for everyone :thumb: Did you know that Blue + Red makes purple. :yahoo:

On the east coast people are stirring in their beds as the day starts to crackle to life. I am going to bed.

Bob ;)

Hey Doc, your CK leaves don't look too different from mine you inquired about, though she looks more swole, yes I'm jealous, did you say this pic is at 30 days of flower? and is your's Barney's or Dinafem? Thanks for the invite and the brownie, may I have another please?

Damn fine looking grow Doc!

:Namaste:

Your right not quite as different as I thought when first look at your pics. Your look beautiful to me thats for sure! She is the Barney's version and right at 36 days today. About 20 to go on the kush I think.

:Namaste:
Bob ;)

I just finally got some decent pics up Doc, you can get a better look, I separated 2 different phenos of the CK for you and added a Green Crack (HSO) that looks more indica, I swear they got switched @ birth, however I am a stapler for labeling.

Howdy my sticky fingered friends!

The time had come to remove lots of growth from the flower tent. The moisture level in there was plain redunklulus and light couldnt' get anywhere. So first it was time to go below and clear up some space so I could see what was going on down there. I removed everything below a certain point that had no hope of light whatsoever.

Here is a shot of the Critical Kush from below.
Critical_Kush_Legs_2-5-16.jpg

Then today i went to work above removing any leaves that were completely blocking buds and clearing things out a bit for better air flow. I will likely do more but from here on out it will be adjustments vs big actions.
Group_2-5-16.jpg

And the girls one at a time!

The Punches!

And the Critical Kush bringing up the rear

Finally, some flower shots. Things look nice and sugar is starting to show on the Punches and the Kush. The Lemonista is starting significantly slower than the others.

What do you all think on the leaf removal front. Do I have defoliators in the room or leaf lovers? The Doc loves all kinds in the garden.

:circle-of-love:
Bob ;)

I'm beginning to creep over to the dark side, liking the defoliation, though it's my first true indoor grow, I'm trimming just before switch to flower, 21 days into flower and 45 days into flower. So after an allnighter on 9 last night @ the 45 day stage , tomorrow night I got the (7) 21 dayers' to do. and then this perpetual thing to keep up with, Jiminy Crickets.....

:surf:

Doc was wondering if you could give me a quick run down on how your SWICK is set up. I was catching up on your journal and came across it not knowing what a SWICK is but thinking Wick then I saw a pic now can't seem to even find that page again. No hurries, if you get a chance i'd greatly appreciate it. Looks like it could serve as a leveler and waterer if those are words?

:Namaste:

Captain, there's a link to the SWICK thread in my signature. (It's in blue) All your questions will be answered there, but basically it's a method of letting the plants water themselves. The pots sit on a large reservoir filled with perlite. Maintain the water level at about 1-2" below the surface and the perlite wicks the water to the pots and into the soil on demand. It'll allow him to leave the flowering plants for days without concern about drying out at this critical stage.

I don't know that fruit punch might give it a run for it's money Canna ;)

You could be right, I'll have to get friendly with the Kool Aid dude. Maybe I'll find a little tune for fruit punch too.

I figure Bob's not up yet, so I can post and run before he has time to slap me upside the head.

I have been trying to stay away from pulling as many leaves as I normally do. We are headed in opposite directions! But, I am pulling a bunch of leaves today as I will be unable to do so for 7 days as my house sitter wont be doing anything of that sort for sure.

On the SWICK front, follow Sue over to the thread in her sig as that is how I set mine up. I need to go over there and post some pics and how it all went. But really it is nothing more than a container full of perlite and water up to nearly the top. Pots sit on the wet perlite that wicks up the water. I won't keep them as a watering method after I return but I think I will leave the SWICKS in place with dry perlite in them so if I need to I just add water. :thumb:

What Sue said! Thanks for directing him to the SWICK thread. I need to get some better pics and go over and show how I used them to keep that info growing. :bravo:

A slightly modified version...

{{Peter, Paul, and Mary singing}}

"Lemon tree very pretty,
Oh, the lemon flower is sweet.
And the fruit of the tall lemon
will be very hard to beat.."

:cheer:

:circle-of-love: Love it! I know you are partial to those lemony smells and flavors. Truth is you would really like the Lemon Kush I have. It isn't the most powerful smoke, mild body stone mostly, but the taste is crazy lemons and has only gotten stronger with cure.

I don't know that fruit punch might give it a run for it's money Canna ;)

If we are talking yield, I think that will be a for sure. The Lemonista is a leggy girl with spread out buds. They are heavy, but not stacked like the hybrid punch. The punch is starting to look like rock stacks on sticks. But something tells me the lemonista is going to be a go to morning taste of lemony happy.

Oh there is a song already! Sing to the Brady Bunch Theme

Here's the story of a Dr Bob.
Who was raising three very lovely Girls.
Each of them had lovely buds, like their mother,
The youngest one was green.

Here's the story of a ripe sativa.
Who was busy with three colas of its own.
There were four plants living in the same tent,
But they were all alone.

Until one day when NL, and skunk met Haze,
And they knew that they were much more than a bunch.
Yes, this crew would somehow form a fruity bud.
That's the way they became Fruit Punch!

Fruit Punch, Fruit Punch!
That's the way they became Fruit Punch!

{smack} I got cha back Doc...:;):....:circle-of-love:

Thanks for taking care of business while I was still counting sugar leaves snug in my beg. Sadly after that last disply I may be the one that needs smacked on the back of the head. :goof::goof::goof: :circle-of-love:

And since you all took care of the Doc, I return the favor with PICTURES! Hang on one sec....:volcano-smiley:

Let's start with a group of girls!

4 nice tops coming up!

Strawberry Blue has been bent, topped, stripped and just about everything I can think to do. She is going to be big.
StrawberryBlue_2-23-16.jpg

Money Maker has also been topped all over just after this pic actually now that I think of it.
MoneyMaker_2-23-16.jpg

As has the Pineapple Chunk but before the pic this time.
Pineapple_Chunk_2-23-16.jpg

Say goodbye to the veg girls for about 8 days. Oh, all are about to be sat on SWICKs that are just soaking now. It will be interesting to see what they will look like after the break. Raising the lights I think is a good idea before departure.

I  you cats. Jazz hands! :yahoo:
Bob ;)

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Perfect. Getting songs stuck in heads is one of my favorite games! We actually turned it into a game in my old office and would sneak songs into circumstances to see if we could do it without them knowing we were doing it. Whistle, make it play softly on speakers, etc. We were ruthless if anyone ever let out a song that they never could here without it getting stuck!

Bob ;)

I noticed that you said your "old" office. Is this why you don't work there anymore? :riskybusiness:
