Thanks DroJo, and thank you for the +rep also, hay Me to! I do like the cheese strains, great adoption you think, a friend was moving back to Wisconsin and couldn't take her with! so I adopted it I'll have to work on getting those buds growen bigger though as he had the plant under Fluorescent lights till he bought her over, hoping to do good on this one also.

Well crap I hope their will be something left of the roadrunner, while I was changing the hps 150wtt to my hps 400wtt my little fan dropped down next to the roadrunner plant and broke a branch off dam, so I made it into a clone now, but I have no idea what or how an autoflwering clone will act.

I've never seen a AF clone before. As i've been lead to believe its very difficult to clones AFs.. I guess we're gonna find out. Are u thinkin about including that in this journal? should be interestin :nomo:

Yes, I 'll keep updating as it goes along! and yeah that's what I am hearing that their hard to clone, originally my plan was to use the roadrunner/lowryder strain as a way to grow fast 65 to 75 days to harvest so they say! an try to improve on that! and keep a quantity of 6 to 12 in flower to harvest and 3 or 4 so in veg, that are short in hight an to harvest type plants! did you follow that? so in this! these plants are test runs on what strain I want to grow or what area's of strains there of I want to grow in, exploring the strains! hay you can readall you want about it! but totally diffrent doing it and seeing it do what it is suppose to do.
Cool I'm HighRoorRipsorry.

Doctor Who,

Yes it did I have been real busy with work and other crap sorry! I thought I had responded back to your send, I'll have to give some though to those days as thery are real hazy this many year later away much partying back then also.

Well the 400wtt hps I chaged to has had a big impact on the plants, and they are now looking much healther now just over night, yes there is a heat increase so I have to leaves the fron open till the lights shot down for the evening! Fun.

I am hoping the light will help the roadrunner who is looking a bit in the thin side.

:grinjoint:

Okay my fellow framers this is what you need to check your trichomes on your bud's, Radio Shack can't remember how much though sorry but is affordable.

Hell if a camera get's you what you need to identify the trichomes and that the plants are ready to harvest more power to you, I have a nice panasonic Lumix cost a bit back a few years ago! good camera but I need to get it fixed, it will not stay on, but if it would worked I could take some awesome pictures with it also.

Ill be honest. I had one of those cameras. It was really annoying as heck. I later learned that you snip a bud off on a surface and examine it. Pffft wish someone woulda told me that before. Looking at trichs on a live plant was driving me up the wall...

Neutrino is right tho, you're ladies are a lil lanky, but i've seen growers do this on purpose and bring the lights down in flower to fill em in. I'm assuming you're planning the same thing since you do have your lights pretty high. I can't knock it, i've seen some nice journals with ppl inducing stretching like that. The ladies are looking good. keep up the good work DW

Oh yes that was induced stretching and yes the light has come down! the roudrunner is starting in it's flower cycle with the other 2 close behind an I want them a bit taller than they were! but I have to keep a careful eye on this, as this light is a 400wtt hps in a 36"L X 16"w X 72"h insolated metal cabinet, with the doors open a fan high and a fan low and miniumal venting fan's top an bottom that really aren't that good! see picture below! I plan on a cool tube and a sirius venting fan pulling the heat from the light or 2, but for now I have the DIY cool tube I can use till I can buy what I need, that goes in tomorrow.

No problem - I understand. Looking forward to hearing from you.... :smokin:

yeah if you can get a vented hood, or a cool tube in there youll be set. have it vent the room thru the light. i have mine set up this way and i can get my 400watt light to about 6 inches from the tops. noting to special for the fan im just useing the stanley blower fan with a passive intake. and a few small fans to move air around. Lasko 655702 Three-Speed High-Velocity Blower Fan, Black & Yellow thats the fan.

I here you! and am responding with result's, I got the tube in and the vent hooked up and working! but!! I still want a better cool tube and a serious venting fan, short review on the a/c duct 4' vent fan this fan is only good for very smaller spaces in size, not that good for a tent that is to large to handle the small volume of air it moves in pushing or pulling, but for now the 4" will do.

Here are pictures of the light and cool tube venting setup!
002328.JPG

Built with materials from the local craft store (5"3/4" x 8" Glass tube)! 4" venting duct from home depot ring clamps total cost $20 tax included.

This is a temp setup as I said I have a 3'w x 4'L x 5'h and that's aside from the 6'x6'x6' tent I already have, all that is going to be setup in the garage, but I still have a lot crap to move out there to make room.

Flowering has begun at 25 days Roadrunner, sorry pic is a little out of focus, but there is buding happening, the others should start showing real soon as all are in 12/12.:smokin:

Hey Dr. Who! Ladies are lookin good bro. How bad are your heat issues? I've got a couple hps ballasts, and from my experience you will always have heat issues when you purchase a new system til the bulb is broken in. After a week the temps will be very managable. My 400 was running @ like 86 degrees for the first week. After about a week it stayed steady at 79 then even dropped to 74/75. Your ladies look great tho, i wouldnt exhaust too much energy & $$ into cooling it yet. After a week you may see that the temps become very managable.. Anyway Im stayin posted :cheertwo::popcorn:
