Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

My hypothesis is those nubs indicate that she would be an easy cloner. The knot is likely previous damage in that area.

Knot was from a suoercrop but yes she is an easy cloner. I think it her wanting new shoes!

Re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

That looks delicious. Have you smoked a lot of it?
Maybe too much. Working on a "half gallon" now. Don't think he weighs it just told me he was bringing me a half gallon. What a guy! His next harvest is going to be nuts 1800 watts of quantum power combined with the power of the kit.... I'm very impressed already at day 10 of flower or so. A great variety of flavors too

Hey gang! Got an interesting looking girl, just thought she looked cool

Man... checked on the clone I put to flower... it's got photo stress like the two before it. But this time I don't understand. I changed the lighting
To come on from 5am-4pm and my veg cabinet is always set on 5am-9pm... so no idea how that happend. Also showing sign the roots aren't happy. Leave yellowing a bit and some spots on a few lower ones. Geez man... and I had kept her so happy this whole time in a 1 gal for over 3 months and now she's not happy.

And some pics of this fickle lady. I really didn't want this one to turn out the same as the other two. I wanted her to be stress free and sprinting. Well, that obviously didn't happen for me.

Only growing 1 this time... and I stuck
To a 7gal pot. My roots were terrible after my last run so figured I'd try and get great roots in 7gal before moving
Up...

Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

So, was thinking.. dangerous I know... you guys think that since this particular strain has pre-flowers or whatever you wanna call em... even during veg... maybe any change in photoperiod will cause this stress? Like I
Said both my veg and bloom lights come on at the same time 5am. So when I flipped her, she still
Had the same wake up time just goes to sleep earlier now... I don't get it. Last time it was understandable cause I changed the photoperiod form 11/13 to 12/12 a week into bloom. Though the wake up time stayed the same then too...

Edit: wanted to note my temps have been 81 humidity40-45 which I know is to low and am working on fixing that. Gave her 1gallon water with 1/4 TP after she was in new pot...

Did you top after you put her in bloom perhaps? It is showing signs of photoperiod and/or "topping" stress. What I mean by "topping" stress is that when bloom hormones are happening and you top the plant, you cut off those hormones and the plant will go 3 bladed and even 1 bladed leaves after that.

What did the roots look like when you transplanted?

Rescue Drench bro.

Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Knew you'd say rescue drench... thanks Doc.
No sir, haven't been topped in a long time. I only did the training to get those 4 branches. After seeing those other 2 get crazy bushy I wanted to give this one plenty of room to do its thing. Looks funny now, pretty shitty training, but once they fill out You'll barely see the dirt.
The roots were ok, not like yours which was disappointing, since it was vegged for so long. And never did it get where it needed watering everyday... the root ball was crazy dense though... felt really solid, and when scoring the ball it was actually pretty hard to cut. I used a box cutter, and still a lot of resistance.
So yea, not sure what's up with that stress... i know their are no light leaks, timers set right, so yea... I'm baffled.

Well, we do know some things for sure....."nutes" be they synthetic salts, organics , or high brix do not cause problems like that. The 3 bladed leaves and growth pattern is highly suggestive of light stress and hormone issues.

Did you clone this plant off of one that had photoperiod stress?

If not, Occam's Razor says: genetics.

Yes, because this one came from the same plant I just harvested and it did the same thing. But, last time I had changed from 11/13 to 12/12 and thought that caused the issue. I'm with you Doc... I'm thinking crap genetics! The others from the same company, with the exception of their white widow, have done other weird things like pin head seeds, and photo stress as well. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again. It'll be a while till
They bet that drench... lifted pots this morning and still pretty heavy. I just Transplanted and flipped Sunday.

Edit: feel I should mention I haven't sprayed Brix in over 10 days. I saw those lead issues coming on and wasn't sure if I should spray or not. Last time I had similar issues you said to hold off until they straightened out. Would you suggest this now? Or should I hit em with some Brix soon?

So, you got this clone from a plant that did the same thing.....and other seeds from the same company have done similar/weird things.....

Except the White Widow, which is fine. Deductive reasoning says genetics.

Also, if you took the clone when the mother plant was in photostress, the clone is also going to be that way.

You're carefully doing everything right and the WW is behaving, correct? If it was something wrong in the environmental sense---light, soil, feed---the White Widow would also behave the same way.

Genetics. I have plants every now and then that for whatever reason don't look right. I cull them without a second thought. It's really discouraging to put all kinds of time and energy into something that won't grow right.

That it is Doc, and I'd hate to cull the one in flower now so I'll let her go on and bloom... the white Widow I planted Sunday hasn't come up yet... but I'll be sure to watch carefully, but I have a feeling she'll be a lot easier to grow. Always was in super soil, and never had any problems with them. Just the Wonder Woman and White Castle. Hope the Widow pokes her head out soon...

Thought I would BUMP your Edit

WARNING RH ALERT

Temps that high and that low of a Humidity are going to cause
them issues as well. I just did some quick fixes as well and
I can really see the difference .

Temps and rH in that range will cause problems.....but not the kind he's having. But you're right about seeing the difference once things get fixed.

Nothing is more important than the environment.
