Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I think the fabric combined with using a 2 gal veg felt is my issue as well but also wanted
to ask about the above

I also have some light that is filtered through a far window covered with only a blanket
its very dim but gives enough light that I can see it at the far end of the room ? Kinda
ignored it since its on par with the moon light reflection that would be present at night
in nature but maybe its affecting things negatively.

So next run, 1 gal plastic to 7 or 10 plastic, seal off window use same 1 st run (from bin)
with same seeds. Same process and see what happens.

I'll try and remember to report back.
Keep in mind that outside they get far red light which is then to sleep much quicker. That light could be affecting it.

If you were growing outdoor monsters, 2 gallons for veg would be fine. But you can't develop the right kind of rootball in 2 gallons unless you veg for a long, long time and then you'll have plants that are way too large for our wimpy indoor lighting.

1 gallon for veg. 7 or more gallons in bloom. Plastic only. Square, round...doesn't matter. Plastic.

This is the same situation I'm in with the light, any light that could possibly be getting to my plant via the opening I leave is no stronger than the moon light, in addition to that, I have a second tent for flowering with a similar opening except that opening is directly under a ceiling light maybe 45w or so, it got seeds, it didn't grow as vigorously as the ones that didn't suffer from a light leak but I didn't see any stress like I'm seeing from the plant I originally asked about

Moonlight is not the same spectrum as filtered sunlight. Also, the moon isn't full every nite and many nights have no moonlight for much of the night.

Please make it so you're dark when it's dark. Nothing is more important than the environments we provide, and if yours has light you're going to have problems.

Thanks again this makes sense now, Sometimes my thought process gets stopped
before I get to the crucial part

I get that the spectrum would be different but if the PAR is that low can the plant even see it?

Re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Removing all light can't hurt, some might, so I have to move in that direction
Yeah I mean I don't disagree but I don't think that's what is causing my plant to be stressed. I have over 20 other plants in the same room in similar circumstances that's are all fine.

I have also had past grows with no issues with the same window cover.
could be a combination of issues so I have to remove the possible causes
one at a time once I identify one that could be causing a problem.

High Doc,
Was gonna use soft pots. You changed my mind.
I'm going to go plastic #7's this week.

That's a great method and I mean I planned on covering everything in panda film or at least light proofing everything and installing green lights for visibility. I can't stand working in the dark.

Yeah I really hate working in the dark haha unfortunately I hate paying higher electric rates more so I'm going to need to have lights on at night which means I need green light during the day when my plants are asleep haha

I'm going to get some hard plastic 10s or 20s f fabric pots

I moved (3) 4 gall plastic rootbound and stressed moose and lobstas into 15 gall plastics last week. They went ballistic! I would warn you though, 15g pots may need 2 people to move!! Heeeavy but doable for me. 20 g pots may need a crane or hi-low!!:laughtwo:
