Being myself an Anarcho-libertarian, I LOVE all forms of actual money first....and put all fiat currencies on the same level of disdain. Since I can't really trade gold or silver for High Brix gear, I'll choose US dollars as my second choice, and BitCoin and others as "other" second choices.

It all comes down to what facillitates commerce and at what cost. The big idea is to keep costs DOWN and get half the world growing High Brix. Food too!

I guess my point is, what's the point? If not to be anonymous and buy things that you can't buy with a bank account.

Yeah...I guess? I've literally never paid a bill offline so I can't really compare. It just seems like an unnecessary step and also has the potential to lose your money because the value of Bitcoin for example, shifts like a stock so today you could have 1 bitcoin which is worth so much and tomorrow you could have .89 of a bitcoin which is worth considerably less. So I see pitfalls and not a lot of usefulness except in certain situations.

Now if you mine Bitcoin, that's a different story because you're effectively making money by leasing your processing power at that point I could see why regular stores take bitcoin.

Sounds like your bank wants the info more I'm not sure it has to do with actually paying a bill. I don't trust Banks, but rather credit unions.

Sounds like that bank might be selling your information because I've never heard of that ever before sounds pretty fishy to me and only bank I trust is the Mason jar buried in my backyard

Cant say why but I have had this issue at each and every bank
I have payed with cash. Every time I have the same argument with them, and told the
same thing. Made the argument CREDIT card payment was due in a few days and
I was here to pay with cash ON TIME and if they don't accept it I would not be
responsible for any interest or penalties, NOTHING, we cant accept without ID.

yup...cash aint king at banks, i have same at Chase, Bank of AmeriKa, etc...we've been slowly going cashless since credit cards came out and started accelerating in Aug/1971..

Yes sir, I totally agree. Really the only way to know you're not smoking that crap is to grow it yourself. I went Vegan for a similar reason, I have no idea how those animals are treated or raised, whats rubbed on them and what put in them. I feel safer just not eating that crap... And I have never felt so good! Anyway, not trying to convert anyone, to each their own.

They can feed and rub stuff on your vegetables the same way they can with meat products. Moral issues aside, the only way to know what you're eating (vegan or otherwise) is to grow and process it yourself.

This is one of the main reasons I started growing. I didn't want to have to "call someone" then wait and see what they had on tap. Could be good, could be schwag, could be contaminated, and prices fluctuated on a whim. I grow my own and I always get fire with no contaminants...and I don't run out.

Well I only buy organic... not that that means much. But do plan on a huge garden next year. Sure they can rub stuff on em.. and I can wash it off. Cant do that with meat or milk... But all that aside, I have never felt so good, I have no regrets and dont miss that stuff at all. I hear you there, I too didn't want to call and wait... and wait.. And never know what you'll get. So yea, can hardly wait till I get to try my first harvest of DBHBB.
 
Worked for a FOOD EQUIPMENT Manufacture as a Brake Operator, we made very large
Stainless Vats that were filled with HAM's, Water (Heavy) and what ever-else preservative
they wanted to add. Machine Lid would close, vacuum seal and when the air was pulled
out all the liquid was sucked into the Hams (Much heavier after this process), Just sayin
they can do that to FARM FEED as well, we have no idea
