True, it has a lot to do with the way they are raised, But as teenagers They Know Right from Wrong and
maybe need some outside direction :)

Top of the day to ya Ernball and Demaon....Would like to offer up a big warm welcome to the Mag., especially this neighborhood. You both have found the best and coolest weed forum on the web,...no doubt about it. Most of us around these parts are growing in soil and of them, most are using Doc Bud's gear. The 'kit' as we like to call it has had almost ALL of the guess work removed by people that where lab coats every day and of course Doc's. never ending goal to make it better with on going testing and experimenting. The kit has enabled all of us that use it to enjoy growing again and for first timers ...they are very fortunate to have stumbled upon it , early in their growing careers. Growers around these parts are people first ....and growers second...and they are real, very real, full of integrity and honesty with a desire to help others whenever it is welcomed , or needed. I know , cuz I've met a bunch of them and am proud to call them my friends.

I think it's relative and also similar to how people in-general have become "de-sensitized" to things that would shock and appall us a few years ago, many of us have become accustomed to a higher-grade of cannabis and don't quite recognize the aromatic invasion strong cannabis can still have in many cases. I have a staple strain in my inventory that will absolutely STINK up an entire room in seconds after opening the jar. It smacks you in the face of sweet, skunky goodness, but once broken up and more-complex terpenes are released it evolves into many different aromas that people have described as "skittles' and "pine-sol".

I only have about 400 feminized beans of it left. :straightface:

I don't think stupid is there problem, EVIL is more of what comes to mind.
I have not seen or want to watch it but if the disabled child was any body
I knew the consequences would be a "Real World" lesson for each and everyone

I'm with ya Gazoo, kids need their ass busted. Talking doesn't work, willow switches work great. My grandmother always left welps, she said that they were reminders. Never understood timeout, sit in the corner, that crap doesn't work. Those kids are pure evil, if I were this incident, I know I would be locked up. No excuse for that kind of behavior, I'm getting pissed thinking about it. I Need to smoke and chill now, sorry for the rant. That's why I don't watch tv anymore, nothing but negativity, things have sure changed over the last 50 years.

Since I already have these two items
GROW MICROBES
and
BLOOM MICROBES

I Wanted to ask if there is anything in these that would compete with anything we have going iN the KIT ?

I ask simply because I have 2 plants going, same strain, same Kit and thought I could do a little experiment
and see if adding Microbes at times would be of benefit.

I haven't smoked all of it yet......

As for the Panama, it is maybe the best smelling weed in the bag ever. Unique and wonderful. Hard to explain. It smokes nearly as well as it smells, meaning its smooth as silk with nothing but pure sweet goodness. Nothing harsh, overly spicy or lung expanding. This is super comfortable smoke.

It also produces a very chill and upbeat Sativa high. If I had more of it, I'd smoke it Rasta style and maybe share an ounce or more between 3 or 4 people in one evening. Large joints of course. I think it would really come into its own after 20 or more hits.

The Cotton Candy'Carnival was OK. In every respect. Nothing stood out other than it was obviously High Brix weed. It was clean, fun, smelled great, smoked smooth.....honestly I wouldn't grow it. Not knocking it, it's just not as special as the Panama.

And that's all I've had so far!

FYI, the plants dictate the microbial culture via root exudates....so this is already happening with the kit, just from the inside out, not by adding special kinds.

The foliar sprays really drive this.

Thanks, Probably not going to help since as you said its already being produced by
the reaction to the foliar feedings. But being one who hates to wast, and knowing there
is a time limit on the Microbes I purchased I thought I would see what happens, just
wanted to make sure it was NOT SIMPLY A BONEHEAD MOVE :thanks:

Won't the mixed Glomus be an issue? We try to isolate them to one species ... ? Probably not a great bid deal.


Doc, I grew both the Panama and the CCxC and I agree completely. :cheesygrinsmiley: :high-five:

But tell me, have you noticed a senual/sensory effect from the Panama? The pine terps along with that character in the high was what set it apart for me. You're fond of that ethereal shift that occurs outside after dark - food and fire and conversation - see if it's different than other starins.

The problem is a large and complex one. While parenting is part of it it isnt only the parents fault. As parents now a days we are limited in what we can do to chastise and discipline our children. If society and the government would back off a little bit and give us the freedom we are supposed to have then we would be better equipped to raise a better class of young ones. I am younger than most of the folks around here and more in line with Nismo as far as age. When I was raised I could run the streets and play without worry and without my parents worrying about child protective services showing up at the door. I have seen a few articles about parents getting in trouble for what is now dubbed "free range parenting" which was the parenting approach of my generation. You can no longer let your kids out of your sight or you are neglecting them. So most parents stick their kids in front of a screen so that they do not have to consistently watch them, cuz so long as they are inside they are fine. While these kids are in front of the screen they see people doing all sorts of messed up stuff and gaining internet fame. The kids then record everything and do all they can to go viral so that they can gain the same recognition. If we were able to discipline kids without worry of having them taken away we could raise better kids. It has gotten to where kids threaten to call CPS just to get their way! If kids could play with other kids in person and not over the internet they would create real bonds and would learn real life lessons. As a society we are moving away from valuing people and instead we value things and fame. All these fights for "equal rights" that do nothing other than placing more value on whatever group they are trying to up lift does not help. We need to revisit core values and worry more about retaining rights than we do about micro managing everything and trying to make every one a carbon copy of one another.

Sorry for the rant that is kind of all over the place but I see this more as a societal problem than a generational one.

Oh, it's perfect for that kind of thing Graytail. For example, yesterday evening we took some friends of ours on a "jackass wine tour" which means we visited 2 wineries and then had a picnic high in the hills accessible with 4 wheel drive. We smoked a combination of Colombian buds and Tangie sugar leaf rolled into a joint.

One of the girls laughed so hard for so long she had sore stomach muscles and actually was worried she wouldn't be able to stop laughing.

But with the Panama, we would have all been a bit more serene and would have probably fixated on the sunset, or the birds, or the beauty of the setting, etc.

If I want to think long, deep thoughts, Panama. If I want to get everyone laughing and talking.....Colombian and/or Tangie. If everyone needs to get stoned.....Paki......and if people want to go to sleep in a couple hours, Sour Grape or Grape Ape.

Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

If I were to buy a skunk #1 I would buy from Flying Dutchmen. They bred my Twister and my Twister has some straight up skunk.

Back in the day the Skunkman brought skunk#1 to Amsterdam and handed it to 3 breeders, Eddie from Flying Dutchmen was one of them. Flying Dutchmen have huge greenhouses and can do very large runs, pheno hunts of 100s of plants.
They did a long term stabilization of strain.
Keep in mind that any amsterdam IBL of skunk#1 will lean more towards production and thc level than terpenes. But I think you will be able to make a pheno hunt for a nice stinky pheno for sure. My Twister is a strain that immediately fills a room. Or car.
I plan to get their skunk #1 in quantity and do a pheno hunt.
