Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

If I were to buy a skunk #1 I would buy from Flying Dutchmen. They bred my Twister and my Twister has some straight up skunk.

Back in the day the Skunkman brought skunk#1 to Amsterdam and handed it to 3 breeders, Eddie from Flying Dutchmen was one of them. Flying Dutchmen have huge greenhouses and can do very large runs, pheno hunts of 100s of plants.
They did a long term stabilization of strain.
Keep in mind that any amsterdam IBL of skunk#1 will lean more towards production and thc level than terpenes. But I think you will be able to make a pheno hunt for a nice stinky pheno for sure. My Twister is a strain that immediately fills a room. Or car.
I plan to get their skunk #1 in quantity and do a pheno hunt.

Skunk#1 is almost like the Beatles....influences everything. Maybe I'll have to grow some o dat!

Re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Yup!...me too! Once upon a time i grew out a bunch of Northern Lights#5 X Skunk #1 and it was , as i remember the best from that grow, about 19-20 yrs. ago. Got the seeds from Marc Emery as i recall. Anyhow Skunk #1 these days is a crap shoot , but a good one , unless ya get a breeder who screwed it up...some how. Cheers gang!:high-five:

Won't the mixed Glomus be an issue? We try to isolate them to one species ... ? Probably not a great bid deal.

Thanks Graytail

I thought there could be a problem with competing microbes, thanks for the heads-up,
this is the type of answer I was hoping for.

Gives me a starting point for more research.

Thanks again

Is method1 ops, is it compatible with your kit doc? It's bug spray, just asking because I have big jug, and don't want to waste

I don't have any knowledge of that product. All of the neem derivatives aren't harmful to the plants.....but there are some hinting that perhaps azadithracin is responsible for some illness with people who consume it regularly.....IE pretty much every crop is sprayed with the stuff and buds aren't washed, etc.

You really shouldn't need much in the way of bug sprays, especially if you "weaponize" the foliars and use them to irritate and drown the mites with each application.

Thanks, I know it's not neem derived, people are using with organic super soils. I need to check ingredients

Just remember....foliar sprays don't just stay on the foliage. I've battled cannabis cup mites....immune to all miticides....simply using the foliar sprays supplied in the High Brix products....including Leaf Wash.

Canna and Nismo also won the battle with zero nasty stuff.

Please let us know what's in it!

I think it's relative and also similar to how people in-general have become "de-sensitized" to things that would shock and appall us a few years ago, many of us have become accustomed to a higher-grade of cannabis and don't quite recognize the aromatic invasion strong cannabis can still have in many cases. I have a staple strain in my inventory that will absolutely STINK up an entire room in seconds after opening the jar. It smacks you in the face of sweet, skunky goodness, but once broken up and more-complex terpenes are released it evolves into many different aromas that people have described as "skittles' and "pine-sol".

I only have about 400 feminized beans of it left.

hey gov those are very precious seeds you lucky dog!

Thanks doc. I'm going to use your method. Where I already had this, just checking on it. When I get home, I'll post a pic of the ingredients. The stuff worked good on grow I just harvested. I'm glad I washed this round. Look at the water

...and thats only what youre seeing. :thumb:

You don't wash duggs? I didn't either till this grow. Wish I done it long time ago
No Buck,..TBH , time is always a major factor for me. My harvests MUST start and finish on the same day with no time for that wash step. I wanna do it , i really do , but that time is a luxury , especially with it already taking a solid 5-8 hrs. I may be able to do it this time cuz of the timing with my trip and all! I'm gonna post harvest pics , hopefully the 'wash' process will be in them. Cheers Buck!:high-five:
eh..
seen enough!?!

Your work is paying off ,...harvest looks great hangin bud,...:high-five:
