Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Yup we had those foam squares and they worked wonders. Now that we have made it a bit more permanent we have the pink foam board with plywood on top then panda film. The panda film makes cleaning much easier. The pink foam is much cheaper, easier, and thicker. :thumb:

I finally got the girls going in your soil doc, they seem very happy. Haven't given anything yet, but about to top the cherry vanilla cookies, it's on 5th node. I figured as soon as soil dries, be ready for kit

Thanks doc and gang, and have a happy 4th

Today was one of those 'good' days: Another seed went into just-cooked High Brix soil.

I call this one Chronic Tonic--it's been an incredible day-time smoke, and the body-pain-relief combined with the clear-headedness of it has me thinking she carries some CBD from her Father's genetics. Lineage: Chocolate Tonic (Chocolate Kush x Cannatonic) x Chronic Haze (NLxSkunkXak47). Cheers everyone!

Yeah it is lol, the patience comes more during the second grow and the first is in flower. It's all moving in a cycle and you can then have some thing to do everyday, almost! This is what I want my life to be!! ...

I found patience to be the most difficult ingredient of the kit to learn. :)

Hey Doc,
This quote was from a post you did over on graytails journal , and I was really interested in a few strains you can recommend available in seed form that's can offer the shamanic quality you mentioned in this quote

"Encourage your brother to not stop at two....even inexperienced smokers can enjoy the high brix difference....things even out after about 10 hits on the high brix sativas.

I get a little jumpy and itchy if I have 2 or 3 hits of champagne. But if I smoke a whole joint of it, or take 10 to 12 really big bong rips....well, all kinds of good things happen!

Some of the shamanistic qualities of certain strains really come out in high brix. A warm, starry night and a few really good sativa buds can be a journey of self discovery. Also works great when a lover is into it.

Well done bro! What a shame you have no one to share it with! It won't take long to make a lot of friends, once they try it."

I'm really partial to landrace sativa's. Thai, South American, Asian.......I think I prefer those from Colombia the best, but all of them have merit.

Pretty amazing things the Romans discovered. The cost for private companies to rediscover it and pollution? Who makes the decision on which is more important and how do we come to that conclusion? The factors are immense and this Platinum Haze Haze me on one ☝️

Thanks for the read Ziggs!! ✌️..

Well now... lets be fair here. I really dont think they had any idea, when they poured that, that it would last so long. I mean, how could they even know that the salt water/minerals would act in such a way? They didn't... they just built it, and all these years later portions still stand.
Still really awesome though, and I do hope they use this knowledge. And I dont mean to sound like an ass here, so please dont take it the wrong way.

Not all, but I do think they knew what they were doing. Maybe the discovery was by chance but then from there!! Is was on!!

Hey guys I have a question about harvesting the plant. I know we do it in the dark cycle but when is the ideal time? Is there a sweet spot during the lights out cycle to harvest?

Just after midnight or soon after you wake her up will work both.
