Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Hey Doc, hope your day is going well. Thanks for that awesome service... sprayed my ladies with the Leaf Wash today @ recommended rate, soaked really good about 10 min before lights out. That stuff smells familiar, but I can't figure it out... reminds me of something. Anyway, I put the rest that I mixed in the fridge, dont think you answered before... should I keep it in the fridge after its mixed or toss what I dont use?
You can keep it for a few days, just shake really well and make sure it smells right before using again.

It's orange, Karanja and neem oil in a liquid fish base. It not only cleans the leaves, it also gives bugs a big problem AND it feeds the soil. My kind of product.

I do apologize to everyone for not being on all the High Brix journals and for having such low participation here....I'm beyond busy right now. All good, great things happening very soon....

but here's the garden today.

Skywalker OG, Paki, Tangie and Sour Grape. All new drenches, no epsoms. The skywalker is finally producing like it should! It's the first one:

Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I used it today on my pumpkins as I haven't had the need for it in the indoor garden yet. The vines have started to become hard and branch like. The grubs and other sucker insects had made or chewed their way into the vine. Very interesting as to how they just made a home and you could see how the plant was trying to survive but was also dying at the same time. I've never paid much attention to plant life before growing cannabis.

I mixed up a strong mix as Doc suggested. Once I started spraying when the grubs had made way inside the plant, all the little fucks started backing out. All sorts of small little insects came out. I used two spray bottle to get the whole plants really good.

Anyhow. Sorry for ohh subject hijack, that just about the most interesting thing about my day. Oh wait. I did up date my journal so if you haven't seen that, go check it out!! I could use some feed back from more of you lovely Brixlayers. Cheers!!!

The 501st OG I'm running now is the product of skywalker OG lineage as well, and I can DEFINITELY say it really likes the new drenches. Branches are sturdy as a tree, leaves are turgid and dark green and the produce from the tester has about 3 weeks in the jar and everyone that's been fortunate enough to have sampled it says it's fantastic.

Hi Doc, gearing up for my 8th HB grow. Expanding the grow area to accommodate 15 plants. All new soil, therefore, I'll need 3 kits worth. I'll be emailing you shortly, but would like to get a better understanding of what quantities the dry ingredients - Amendment, Recharge and Roots! come in. Both for a kit and for larger quantities.

I know the "liquids" come in pints and quarts (maybe gallons?) In doing a search of this thread someone mention that the Amendment (1 kit's worth) is 1.5 lbs. Is this correct? What about Recharge and Roots!? What is a "kit" quantity?

Do you have a preference when ordering, e.g, "I need three kits worth?" or ?

Perhaps one day there will be a web page for ordering with prices, quantities, etc.? (hint, hint )

Here are a couple of pics of the current ladies:
1) Auto Pink Diesel X Amnesia (freebie) day 76 of 84 from seed (have you ever seen a strain like this? Like strings of pearls. The only thing I've seen come close to this is a Dr. Grinspoon strain.
2) Pakistan Citral Kush - day 26 of 12/12 \
3) Rosetta Stone (Brother's Grimm) day 26. The PCK and RS are due for the 2nd cat drench in a few days.

Thanks again for all you do. You da man! :thanks:

Hey doc and others, question. My seedlings haven't come up yet and it's been almost 2 days in the dirt. I soaked them for about 15 hours before putting them in the dirt 2 had cracked showing tap root and the other 2 hadn't. Please advise.

Yes, SF, as DL has just said ...they need a lil longer OK. They will be fine , give them a couple/ few more days. Mine usually take 4-6 days to come up ...no worries! cheers.

Ok that makes me feel better. For some reason I thought it only took a day or two. Like I've seen some pop at 18 hours after germination. Not personally but others on here that is. I guess not specifically with DBHBB.

I've had some that cracked in the soak and still got eaten by the soil never to sprout (usually 2nd or 3rd run soil that's REALLY alive and a bit hot), but typically 5-6 days after putting them in dirt they poke their tender little heads out to greet the world.

If they open in the water, it's not a good thing. Best to plant 'em and be patient. With really good seeds, they'll all come up. With older or weaker seeds, not all will come up....only the strongest ones.

I usually drop seeds in water for 12 hrs. Put in paper towel, when tap starts poking out of seed, put in cup or pot. Couple days later they all come up. Usually 100%. If I put straight into dirt, they seem to take an extra week.

This weekend I'm putting seedlings from rapid rooters to 1 gal pots. I'll add roots and 1/4 transplant mix. Does this sound right?
