Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Top of the day to ya DL. Yes, you are 'on track' by following Doc's advise and , or tips. Just a note,..yes you are correct too, get yourself some OG Drench and some Way Aheadx10 from Doc. These strains you are growing/experimenting with will all benefit from these products , as they have been designed to help out "Frankenstrains" and salt loving OG types like you have there. The Wayx10 is great for adding to Brix for foliar spraying during early/mid and late bloom to ward off any micronutrient deficiencies later in bloom. Keep up the good work and KEEP listening to Doc and the gang OK. Cheers to ya.:high-five::bravo:

Thanks Duggan! You folks are #1.:thanks:
I find myself thinking of all of you when I'm tending to the girls.

I've done it, and have coached others.

Seal up your LED lights in plastic, or remove them from the grow room. Sulfuric acid doesn't mix with circuit boards to well.

Put all your containers, clones, vegging plants and plants in early bloom into the room.
Get rH up to 90% and keep it there during the sulfur treatment.
Run the sulfur burner for 6 hours. Vent the room, put everything back, etc.

No more PM.

Your soil is going to be just fine. Don't worry about it.

Doc, one more thing before I burn... I know you've said to cover or remove lights, which I've done. How deep do I need to go with this? Meaning, what about fans, timers, other things "electronic"? As you said, sulfuric acid is hard on the electronics/contacts.

I read a lot of growers use a burner on a regular basis with plants in the room etc. so I'm guessing they don't remove everything. Is it the length of the burn that impacts the electronics? If I understand the property of burning the sulfur correctly, that it's "bare metal" that is the issue.

Acid is corrosive to circuit boards, contacts etc. :)
You don't want to prematurely change equipment or risk shorts/blown fuses, fires etc

Question, how long should I wait on my beans to pop from the soil before I decide to take them out. What can I do to help them along in the germination process??

How deep did you plant them. Should be 2-4 days. Are they in warm environment? Did you soak em in water to soften the shell?

I don't remove fans or timers. I probably should remove the timers....but I don't.

Most growers probably do not understand why a sulfur vape works so well, hence they do not humidify the room beforehand. You want that room super moist....90% + rH. Walls dripping if possible.

New stuff:

Reformulating Growth Energy to include magnesium and sulfur. This is huge! Up till now, such a thing was very difficult due to the propensity for the bottle to bloom and produce gas....pop and leak, etc. This is going to negate the need for epsoms.

Same deal with Transplant. It will have magnesium, sulfur and a bit of iron in it. Between the two drenches, we should not see anymore mag issues AND we'll still have high brix!

about a month away.

Leave them alone ...they could take up to ten days , what Ween said to...

So here's the deal, they were planted a quarter inch deep maybe a little lower. RO water soaked paper towel squeezed over them to moisten the area. Temperatures are between 73 and 75. OK I guess I will have to be patient. I'm a Patient guy I can wait. I did soak them in RO water for 24 hours

I personally always have better germination results when I let the taproot pop out a decent amount before I plant the seed. Otherwise I end up with shells that don't want to come off, etc.
