Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I dropped a Viva Tomato plant in a fifteen gallon smart pot this morning. Soil is your kit. Very interested in this project. I was going to do a cherry... but the Viva's are my workhorse for tomato sauce/gravy and of course my salsa.... I got the plant from the same guy I got the pro mix... he said he starts his tomatoes in it.. so there shouldn't be a problem. The soil for mmj purposes is at week three of cooking....

Thanks Doc, I'll keep you updated. If this goes like I hope my garden will be hi brix before long.... ;)

I'm looking forward to your HB tomatoes! I want to do it, too. :thumb:

Yeah I put one of my black cherry tomatoes on docs kit it's kicking the other black cherries ass' I would of done more but that 45 gallon cbd widow ate up the veggie batch. Didn't want to tap into the mmj batches

10/4 on the 28 days,, it has been warm and the room they're in is sitting at 80 most days. I'm donating 15 gallons to my non-420 garden.... That's it!!!

For now... ;)

But, my goal is to do some taste tests with the final product and see what I get.... I'm going to be working/running/assisting at a fruit and vegetable stand and I think the hi brix will do well...gotta grow them first

Doc, this here lady has many beautiful buds. It is day one week 8@ 12.5/11.5.

Is she showing a little K deficiency or could it be a bit of nutrient burn?

Is it worthwhile to address any deficiencies this late in bloom? I figure she's got maybe 3 weeks to go.

Many thanks Doc and other kit growers.

EDIT. DUTTY CONGRATS GREAT PLANT BRO

If it's been a tad hot and dry in your room, I'd say, yep....K def. That is easily remedies with Destress and a normal Transplant drench, both of which have available Potassium.

I grew perfect looking plants in a perfect controlled environment. The smoke was pretty smooth and tasty but.. when i grew with Doc's kit in an uncontrolled environment with wild temp swings between 55°- 88° even 95° F at times, with seeming deficiencies and cut slightly early the smoke was clearly more satisfying to everyone. I think your nutrient line deserves more credit then the few percentage points you're giving. I forgot where you posted the percentages I just had it on my mind and thought I'd share.:Namaste:

Well everyone pretty sure this is the highest confirmed thc test on docs gear 27% enjoy

I'm not gonna lie I'm a Lil shocked the Dutch has hit 30 with house and garden in the past but only 24 this time. Very nug dependent.

Think if I had foliar fed correctly

Dutty, I'm also using Doc's HB soil and I just had some strains tested May 12th at Analytical 360 in Seattle.Ewok was 28.69%, Black Cherry Soda was 27.82% and my ACDC 2 was 20.23% CBD.There site shows the last 60 day test results. These were grown on second run soil.I can't wait until the third

Garden update:

It's starting to get all about the Colombian Red! Also pics of Champagne, Lemon Paki, Grape Ape and Grape Stomper.

Colombian: Extremely healthy plants that appear to be flowering vigorously. They're stretching like mad, but the stems are stiff and could probably hang christmas lights. Stupid strong. Finally I've found a strain that absolutely THRIVES in HB soil.

Champagne: she begged and pleaded and said she'd do anything to stay in the lineup. She's doing unbelievably well under the LED and getting the Super Drench.

Lemon Paki: Yep.

Grape Ape: Extremely sativified now and in 4th run soil. Meh.

Grape Stomper: OMG. It's a keeper. The smell is like boysenberry pie. Part bakery, part fruit. It's very pungent and the resin is of the syrupy/sticky variety.

Anyways, they're all in here.

So while this is still on my mind do you have any tips or tricks to help a HiBrix plant finish or do you just know when to pick it seems like a few people have said their plants just wanted to keep growing well past the regular harvest window I know a lot has to do with strain and what each one likes and doesn't like
