Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Thanks for the quick answers guys. It was a pain in the ass trying to mix all that soil in that 45gal bin haha. I'll split another gallon between the two bins and check it every day.
This why I'm getting a big 110 gal water/feed bin for cows etc. More room for the tools and mixing without as much mess - at least thats what I'm hoping.

Morning Gang! It's time for me to add the recharge to 2 of my plants, they are in 10 gallon smart pots. So I think this is the last part of the kit I need to get sorted out. 1 kit does 6 plants in 7 gallon pots = 42 gallons. With the EWC it brings it to about 55 gallons. I think my first kit has dished out about 54 gallons of soil (5, 1 gallon, 1, 7 gallon, and 4, 10 gallon) there was about a gallon left over that went into another cooking kit. So do i use the 54 gallon # or the 42 gallon to figure out the amount of recharge per 10 gallon pot?

I have a similar question about the recharge.....now the recharge does what it says.....recharge the soil, similar to the amendment.....now if you have gone from a 1 gallon to a 10!like neiko has done, it seems to me that his new 9gallons of soil would still have plenty of minerals in it even after 3weeks?

Am I way off basis here? Or does that make sense, maybe wait longer for recharge or not as much? Like I said not try to write in stone, hell I'm still on my first kit.......

Just take the bag of recharge, dump it on a smooth surface, split it into 6 piles and use a pile :)

OK, we're recharging for what happens at 6 weeks of bloom, not 3. It also get the soil ready for the next run.

There's a pound of Recharge in the kit. We don't have to be precise to the gram.....Just know that each plant would get 1/6 of a lb. if you were using all your soil in 7 gallon pots.

16 oz. to pound.
4 plants in 10 gallon pots or 6 plants in 7 gallon pots....for all intents and purposes we're talking about the same amount of soil in both cases.

In the case of 10 gallon pots give each plant 4 oz. of recharge. Make sure you mix up the product really well before dishing it out.

Yup I figured it was 1/6th think I wrote that down somewhere once I first used it.

Here's a quick question my ed is gonna go at least 13 weeks it appears. It's on week 11 now. I had been giving it transplant rotating with GE then rinse like was stated. It's taking approximately 2 gallons of water a day. What would you recommend on these long sativa dominant plants

Hey, whatever floats your boat MMM!! And actually yeah, use whatever you got on hand. I think some even put it in a coffee grinder to make it finer but Doc said that wasnt a good idea. Just make sure the 6 piles are evenly dispersed :)

How does it look? I like to finish them on Growth Energy normally. I'm going to be trying the Super Drench on the WN I have running. Top dressing with EWC is also helpful.

Mostly it's just a total PiTA growing the really long flowering Sat's.....but they're so great to smoke I always come back and do it again.

It looks big but airy. Very airy.

Not very many leaves left now mostly airy bud.

So maybe half a cup of ewc top dressed then growth energy every feeding till last two? Or straight ge all the way through.

Another question my Pestelence is now just showing bud sites. Hit it now with recharge?tomorrow is 21 days in bloom. Right when I scratch in the recharge do I hit with og? And with the 2.5mil of tea 1/2 oz og I mix in 5 gallon bucket? Yes it's just the Pestelence but I may use on another as well. Not really wanting to break it down per plant. I like to mix the standard mix ratios to 5 gallons and thats based on 6 plants but mine are always thirsty so it only does 2 or 3. I haven't seen no burn but I'm sure it's a Lil wasteful

The OG drench will keep in buckets for a few days, so will GE, so if you mix up more than you used, you can save it for a couple days.

ED: EWC and GE all the way.
Pestilence: recharge now, or yesterday, or in 3 days.....it's more of a window than an absolute timing thing.

Ok perfect.

Regarding og. So there is two plants in there that I'm gonna apply to the Pestelence and my Jillybean since I have many jillybeans also probably pure kush. So today I'll scratch in the recharge on all plants. Can I water this evening with the og? And how much per mix based on the 6 plant mixing. 2.5 tea and 1/2oz og or more?

Yep, go ahead and water it in with the OG. Here's the recipe. Please note, I couldn't make this all happen in the bottle

1/2 oz OG drench
1/2 oz Transplant
Tea
5 tbsp Epsom
5 gallons of water.

1 gallon per plant works well. Watch the stems carefully....mine all weakened after the OG drench and started acting like OG....not able to stand up on its own, etc. Aroma was spot on afterwards, however.
