Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

MMM cab and good steak, I like your style. I can imagine a non-smoker trying some of your smoke lol. They'd probably black out.

We've actually had some problems with that. :laughtwo:

One couple said they smoked weed a lot and had a high tolerance. They smoked like 2-3 times per week, turned out. They hallucinated after hot-boxing 2 joints of Colombian Gold.

Another woman passed out at Ziggy Marly last Summer. She smoked like 3 times a year, max and she had maybe 10 or 12 hits during one song. Uh oh....

We'll be very careful.

Lol, awesome. I remember the first time I smoked really good weed. I was a pretty heavy smoker but still pretty new to it, loved it right off the bat. Went golfing after work and teamed up with a guy I didn't know. Started talking about smoking and he invited me over after, said his neighbor friend has some good stuff. I took a few puffs and next thing you know I'm out like a light and dreaming I fell off a cruise ship trying to grab a life rope or something like that, lol. Then I felt them shaking my arm, saying "you're ok buddy". First words out of my mouth " can you get me some of that?". Been friends ever since and that was close to 30 years ago.

local 420 friendly (unofficially) wine!

As the wine contained MJ?

My friend the Klone King and I made MJ wine in the late 70's from a recipe in Mother Earth or some other hippy magazine.

It kicked but.

Hmmm thx man, but I post on this thread like once a month :)

my favorite things in life usually side heavily with quality over quantity.

keep up the good work.

Interesting if that post of food and wine is allowed to stick, I posted items of the same subject matter and got a letter from the admins about how not to use their corner of the internet and deletion.

Then again I'm just a nobody.

Sorry this sounds salty, it has a touch of salt on it.

Any ideas what this is? Looks like tiny balls of resin. I'm always finding these on the stems of my plants.

The results probably won't be noticeable in your soil, depending on what you've added. My soil is probably quite a bit different.

Definitely different but similar. My medium is home mixed (Fungal rich compost, Vermacompost, Lava rock and coco/biochar mix) compared to your kit which uses Promix. My approach to feeding is very similar to yours as are my levels and types of minerals/nutrients give or take a few. With that all said, I should still be able to see a difference within my own model with the end result when comparing the two vermacomposts against one another. So far in my method of L.O.S I've achieved Brix levels just shy of 18 on my $50 portable refractometer. At the lab it came in at 16. So I think maybe this minor tweak might just bump things up. That is if the science is right... and I trust that it is.

I'm 100% libertarian. I just did a radio show on police brutality/libertarian philosophy. If anyone is interested I'll PM you a link to the podcast.

It happened on 05/05 on 920AM KVEC. Podcast. If anyone is interested they could search that link pretty easy. Start at about 1:10 in.....

I took a listen. I commend you on your reaction to the guy hosting the show. Kept your composure for sure!

What cut of meat is that? The Fred Flintstone...

Underneath it all, Doc is a cave man...

I've had that, too - never found out what it was. :hmmmm: It sure didn't disturb the plant ...

If you upload the photo into the "off =topic" gallery it will stick. You aren't allowed a direct link offisite. No special treatment here bro.

Good to know. I thought off-topic photos (from the off-topic gallery) were only allowed in the off-topic sub-forum.

Did you have to put a counter weight on the other side of the table so it wouldn't flip? But thanks for the help doc they were sold out of the takedown but I did get a pyrithrin based product and I think is killed them on contact I haven't seen a bug since I watered yesterday going to Portland for the day but when I get back I am cleaning and getting rid of the extra soil I have and gonna start fresh when your kit gets here.

Local, grass fed Tomahawk Ribeye with coffee/brown sugar/garlic/salt/pepper rub and a choice of local 420 friendly (unofficially) wine!

Three of these things for the four of us. We're entertaining tonite....they don't smoke weed, LOL! Not yet anyways.

Looks great. Man we share a few similarities I found the podcast as well.
I order 25 tenderloin from the local butcher and 10 rib eyes and 12 lbs of ground beef every 6 months.

Tenderloin is my favorite cut followed by rib eye. Have you ever smoked meat with herb. My buddy and I did it with about a hp of popcorn. It was a pretty Damn good brisket

did you order a kit? If you did, they usually arrive within 3 days.....

Damn that's chicken not steak lol. Anyhow.

So what you think doc I'm gonna do the one in a 30 instead of in the ground. Figured in the ground would need a huge hole filled with more then 30 gallons since exterior soil isn't tested. It will be at least 15' tall at finish should I go bigger than 30. 45 perhaps?
