Honestly, I don't care if it is HiBrix or proprietary blend of pixie dust and unicorn farts. The end result is all that matters. Your results speak for themselves.

Judges rate 1-5 on taste, burn ability, smell, effect, etc. This makes up 70% of the total score, with the lab results making up the other 30%. HIghest scores win.

I'm representing myself but I have a sponsor. There is no "High Brix Method" per se.....what you see here on this forum is us....we're all figuring it out as we go, so to speak.

However, my entry is from "Doc Bud's HiBrix Blend" and my description of how it was grown is the same.....but that's all me. No method.

Should some miracle occur and I place.....look out. But I'm hoping for a good lab result and a motivation to do better next time.

Sunday at 7:30 pM....which sucks because I have a long drive home after that. I may not stay the whole time if I can get one of the officials to check and see if there's any reason for me to stay.

I'm looking at past entries, lab results, etc. Based on looks I know I have a shot.....certainly not a "lock" but a shot. But I'm up against the best of the best and many of them have access to the latest and greatest strains, while I concentrate on the old stuff and stuff that no one has heard about.

It will be interesting for sure! But we'll have a great time going to the lectures, visiting booths, meeting people, smoking in the "medical" zone, etc.

When I dropped things off at the lab, they said there were 150 entries this year. When I talked with the testing lab yesterday, they said they were testing 400 samples! Keep in mind they do edibles, wax, oil, flowers, CBD flowers and all kinds of other stuff.

I'll have results early next week, sooner if I win something. But please! I'm not at all expecting to win!

I'll win it in the future.....promise.....but this is my first time. You can bet I'll be learning from others while I'm there....like a sponge!

Dinner tomorrow night with Curso and a couple friends! :party:

I would love to see Doc grow some of the super potent dank cup winning crosses and cuts that have just been bred or "brought out of the closet" within the last few years. Doc, you do use some elite clones right? I would like to know if the new hype is better than the old. That's just me though.
I can't grow enough right now( or have access ) to "test" those recent champions. Doc Bud and his meticulous methods, to me, seem to be making the happiest home for just about any plant.
I'm just daydreaming really. I'll be moving to CO in mid March and stepping up my growing big time.:tommy::slide: so if anyone has any GOOD advice please send me a PM.
 
I was thinking along the same lines. Ive seen pics of cup winners.

If you're packing Doc's lemon paki or champagne those new fangled strain growers have their work cut out.
