Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Doc and Everyone,

Sorry to break up this party, but I'm in a small jam and need advice. I just received some nutes from Doc. The recharge is in a much smaller bag then I remember. My question, is it still designed for six plants??

A quick answer will be appreciated as I pulled the plants from the garden to prune etc. and wanted to add the recharge before I put them back in. A HUGE THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Best of luck at the cup, Doc!!

The Amendment is about 1/4 pound heavier than the recharge. The recharge bag should be smaller. I'm quite meticulous and i have a system for when I pack these things and it's hard for me to make a mistake....although anything can happen.

Also, don't be fooled by the volume of the bag. Each batch of amendment is hand-made and the ingredients are weighed out......particle size can effect volume, but not weight.

Yep. He's good.

LOL. Back then, I thought growing cannabis was unlike growing any other plant----then I suddenly realized "Hey, I know how to garden. I'm gonna start growing this stuff like vegetables." And here we are!

The best decision I made was to abandon 90% of the "pot forum" methods and move towards the market garden methods for growing plants.

Yeah, that was a great read. Really educational! I grow herbs in hempy buckets and after reading that ill make a few adjustments here and there. :)
Id do my herbs in HB but I like to save my soil for good ol fashioned cannabis :) haha!

When you get a bit of extra soil laying around the place, I highly recommend growing your herbs high brix. Afterall, that's what this stuff is actually DESIGNED to do in the first place.

Absolutely! Ill be picking up another bale of promix and ewc soon. Hey, what do you think about cooking a new batch then mixing the two? I mean its not anecdotal any more that our soil does well after consecutive uses. Would mixing new and old stuff be more of a benefit? I know Curso just adds new stuff to the old to kinda "amend" it so to speak.

I see nothing wrong with such a practice.

I just "fluff" it up every now and then, basically it works out to every 3 runs. I am adding more than I normally would right now because my soil is rich, I can tell by the scent its giving me. So I can cut it a little bit. Now it smells beautiful, just a bit rich...
