Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Don't worry I'll start posting every thought in my pretty head in my own journal soon enough. Truly, I feel ready. You guys have been huge.

I feel like the best of all this knowledge needs compiling in a book, but it is also evolving so its really a trip to be a part of.

Gonna grow this high brix bud, then some of us are gonna smoke it together homies.

I take a screenshot of great posts...

Zukes and yellow squash grown in kit Pro Mix soil in large pots outside next to the incredible tomatoes I will grow again.

Ive got a big pot of 1x used kit soil outside full of gray/griselle shallot sets. So excited to see what spring brings. In this case the amended soil is getting seriously winterized. We have a bunch of days ~10°F this week.

:hmmmm:

How can I get my leaves darker? I've been feeding with tea and transplant the last two watering since my root bound special transplant drench. I'm 11 days since flip on 12/12. my plants were sickly from being heavily root bound too long but have since recovered monstrously in every way they are just so light in color.

They will change once they get hit with brix and cat drench :)

Yep, I've been doing distress twice a week and I spayed with brix 5 days ago, I'll spray destress again tonight and Tuesday I'll use brix again.

You're spraying a bit too often, perhaps. Wait a week inbetween Brix sprayings.

Feed the soil again with Transplant and you should be getting in the zone pretty quick! As for the color, sometimes that electric light green is a good sign. My Lemon Paki grows shiney light yellow/green when it's in the zone.

Hey there Shags....welome to the mag bro!! We havn't met yet ,so just want to say hi and all!Great advice from you Gov. It's always nice to start with a familiar strain so you have a baseline for comparison. Also a good idea Shags to start from seed....i'm partial to this method and believe plants from seed express themselves a little stronger.....i have no scientific proof of this of course;) Good on you Shags for switching to Doc's gear....you will be amazed what you can do with it! Cheers ,and once again welome to our little part of the world where we all learn and help each other at NO CHARGE dude!:circle-of-love:

Flowerfarmer,....Couldn't help but comment on the sprays.....Doc, you r original instructions seem to be right on the money.I spray once a week with Brix, and once a week with De Stress ,but only if they are showing signs of stress, like just after a pruning or any thing that disrupts ther normal routine. Cheers.

Exactly. If there is no stress, don't spray with DeSTress. Once a week is fine for Brix, but more often could possibly cause trouble. They can handle up to two times a week on the DeStress....if needed.
