Thanks Hook I asked him about temps and Rh and he said the last week was a lot of heavy rains and humid / hot so I believe your correct and it’s some kind of mild or mildew.

He has cleaned the room up and will be running a De Huey to drive RH down as much as possible as he is in flower. The current RH is 51 so the mold should be past it’s peak.

I saw that on RIU last year, but I can't remember what it's called or who had it. I'll go try to dig through my history as I only posted on about a dozen threads there. I'll try to get ya a link to pass on to your guy.

Thanks Sky :high-five: He has washed it all off with Baking Soda and cleaned the room so with any luck it doesn’t come back. Eweee was my first reaction too!
 
Wow..that white stuff is scary.I have my thoughts on it, but nothing concrete. Could be cacoons for insects or issues with mold from very humid conditions.
Hope to find out......good idea to clean up that mess and wash things some.

That is very creepy looking.

It could be scale? :hmmmm: Mostly looks like a mould tho, in those pics. I just thought I’d mention scale just in case. It’s hard to tell without being able to see the white spots a bit closer and clearer, so the grower should hopefully be able to check that out :)

This is his business email and he will get it and get back to u ..usually with lightning speed. I to am in Canada and have been using his gear for going on 7 yr. now. Just to back up what he is saying about the membership, I am a total newb and everyone here is Great folks and Very helpful I will be starting Docs kit soon but so far they have held my had through this current grow and getting me straight on a Bunch of things Welcome 88

Yes 88, I second what Pcaddict says !! I’m on my 1st. Kit grow, and have been following doc buds misadventures for 2-3 yrs. now, and I’m still looking for 1 failed grow. In my opinion, this will be the best decision you’ll ever make !! Keep it green !! :passitleft:

I don’t recall what this is called, but it’s definitely a mold. I have it growing in the grass (no, the other kind :laughtwo:) out in the yard. It’s only showed up in the last few days as we’ve had a ton of rain. If the BS or H2O2 doesn’t work, try a 25/75 vinegar/water mix on the stems. Wipe any leaves with 10 /75 mix. If there are no flowers on the plant -couldnt tell by the pics - I’d be tempted to hit the whole plant with a spray at 4-6 Tablesppons per gallon of water. If there are pistils you’ll burn the hell out of them. I learned the hard way:eek:
