DK'S New Grow 2020

Chemdog is not sour diesel x OGKush. Sour diesel is a hybrid made from Chemdog x super Skunk. OG is most likely a separate line descended from Triangle Kush out of Florida. Chemdog was selected from 13 bag seeds found in a bag of weed at a 1991 Grateful Dead show in Noblesville Indiana.

I really think OG Kush is a different line. The stories and early players are all different.
I'm confused now... Is that now not the real chemdawg? How do you aquire yours?

Mine are Chem 91’s from a reversed female. Good back crosses can be found at Lucky Dog seeds and Top Dawg Seeds. @NoobyMacDooby has run some good ones from Green Point seeds I think.

Alright I took a look.. I see what you mean by it being the Chem 4... Still so good though. So you have of the original strain which mus be something to be proud of hey

So I had a look mr.Penny and locally available is the chem91 from Cali connection after reading the description sounds more like the chemdawg.
Will have to order out for yours....

So there is a strain called Pennywise... You would have something to do with it would you?

Hello all...

Want to shout out to those always stopping by my journal... I really appreciate the fact you take time to do so :passitleft:

OK so I haven't really been informative this grow but I'm having a bit of a laid back grow this time. I plan to have a journal like pub and grow again on coco for sure where I do the whole ph info and all that. For now just chilling and growing! And learning a lot now actually.

It is flip day! And babies have just had there share of sleep and have responded I would say immediately... Plants growth just seemed way more visible.

Here are some snaps

Seems like day 1 went well

Congrats on the flip...the plants look great! Love the cable knit sweater too. How are the low temps these days?
Well Temps are drooping but the tent is stable. I have a blanket inner that I could use to slow down the inline fan and allow the air inside the tent to warm up a Lil. Haven't done it yet as Temps don't drpo below 19

Quick question.

When changing the nutrients from veg to bloom...

  1. When is the right time (I usually do it 2 weeks into flower)
  2. Do I flush before hand (I feel I have asked this before)
  3. Do I immediately switch the ph up from 5.8 to 6.2 - 6.3 or when the bloom nutes are introduced.
I'm noticing a heavy chlorophyll smell and taste in my friends buds. It was grown in the ground
So I'm unsure of how to flush. Is there a way to remove this? I have not jarred as of yet. I will today.

First off, correct drying and curing is what makes weed taste good. It is scientifically impossible to flush nutes (or nute taste) from your buds.

When I used bloom nutes I would transition between the two in the first two weeks after flip. Like 25/75, the 50/50, then 75/25, then just bloom.

In soil, if you've been watering to runoff, you probably don't need to donate clear out of old nutes until about 3 weeks before harvest. If you haven't been getting runoff when watering, now would be fine.

Keep in mind that water to flush the soil to clear out old nutes doesn't need to be pH adjusted, and is immediately followed by full strength nutrients. Never leave the soil depleted of nutes.

Not sure I understand the pH question.

OK first of thanks that's helps me brother! I appreciate it.

The oh needs to be increased in bloom from 5.8 to 6.2 or so right? When would I do that
