DIY Stealth Cab, Hydro, LED & Multiple Strains in Small Space - Oh Boy!

Once again brother, thank you for all that info, and for your time! I'm pretty sure I've made up my mind, I just cant see flowering with this thing. The girls seem to love it, and it runs nice and cool; However, as I told OMM, I've been super happy with the results of my vegging with the 125 watt-64K CFL, and I really dont need anything to aid my vegging at this point, as I'm shooting for the end of this week to flip the lights. I'm already into week 9 of veg, and its time...
I'll either try to find a 200w 27K CFL for my hood, or try to get lucky on craigs l!st with a 250wHPS with external ballast....Or.....Hell I might just do it like I did last run, ALL CFL baby. Wasn't what I'd call a stellar run, but the results were pretty remarkable IMHO....

Anyway thank you again for all your help! I'll be seeing you around!:Namaste:

got some bad news, all 4 of my plants are males, dont know what to do now..

Lett'em make pollen then brother! With no females around to ruin, you may want to use this opportunity to get some pollen from the strongest looking and acting plant(s), and use it to brush a couple lower buds in a future grow, then you'll have seed stock and wont have to buy it!! Plus, if on your next grow you use a different strain, you'll have a cross, you could even name it! I'm thinking "Sucka Free Tibet",....Or, hell I dont know I'm just tryin to make you feel better sorry bro....:goodluck:

Hey Quix, I saw you posted a question in another journal about how to wire a 12v fan to a 120v outlet. Here's how you do it (make sure to read the tips at the bottom of the page):

Suka, sorry to hear about the males. If you're gonna grow from bagseed, it's a definate risk, but four out of four males totally sucks, and I feel for you! It's a great reason to master the art of cloning, which I know you're just getting into. In fact, since you don't have any females you need to worry about, you may want to practice and take a couple clones from one of the males. Then, when you get some females, you'll be a clone professional and never have to worry about taking chances with bagseed again! :goodluck:

Hey Mr. Krip! YOU ROCK!!! Notice how I even used Mr. in this post :cheesygrinsmiley: yup took the extra time for this one.... just wanted to point out to the 420 eds that YOU ARE the GROWER of the MONTH. Haven't had much time lately but wanted to let you know I'm still about. Best to you my friend!!! :goodluck:

Ok Mr. K., I dont know why I didnt think of that already, I have a fairly large tote that I call my "Eternal box of useful crap"...My wife hates it because it takes up space in the coat closet, but there's always something useful in it. Old power adapters are one of the many things I've always kept, and I KNOW I'll find one in there thats rated at 12v....However, thet tutorial doesnt specify what mA it should be....(milliamps)...Any suggestions? I'm hoping it doesn't have to match some rating on the fan, as the volts are easy to match up, while a voltage/mA combination is exponentially harder to come up with....

Quix, that's why I referred you to the tips on the bottom of the page. As long as the amps on the power supply equals or exceeds the amps on the fan(s) you'll be fine. For example, if you're adapter was 1.6 amps and your fans were .5 amps, you could wire UP TO 3 fans to a single power supply. Just wire all the red (and/or striped) wires together and then all the black wires together.

Thanks, MacG! I'm honored to be getting all this adoration tonight! :thanks:

:oops: Sorry 'bout that, thats what happens when I put hash on a bows in my vaporizor, my I start sounding all smart(to me) but my ability to retain information goes....well it just goes! Thanks again my friend, I'll take a better look at it tomorrow when it'll actually sink in!:Namaste:

Quix, no problem, bro! I wasn't trying to chastise you, so I hope it didn't come off that way! It's a question I knew you'd have (I had it too, when I first did one!) and it's easy to miss on the page.

It's actually pretty simple. As long as the sum of the amps on all the fans do NOT exceed the amp rating on the adapter, you'll be ok. It doesn't matter how many fans. Just add up the total amps on the fans and make sure your adapter is more.

learning!!!!!! thanks

Lol, no need to explain brother!:high-five: I knew you weren't being condecending, I needed the explanation! Hell, did you see my last post up there!?^^ I was a bit high:lot-o-toke:
Anyway thats great info and I'll be puting it to use this weekend! So you said to wire as many fans, with as many amps as possible, to an adapter with as few mA as possible right??

I didnt i have one air intake ,air cond. If temp hits 80 kiks on,then exhaust blowing out / cramptd place!!!!

Always have air flow in 12-12 room..

PIC UPDATE

Once again, I apologize for taking so long between pic updates, but doing my best to stay active while trying to survive these tough times!

On the veg side, I transplanted the two best PE clones from their mini hempys to some larger ones and started their LST.

They're both doing and looking great!

I will most likely move them to the Waterfarms before I put them in flower, and I may even try to flower them together depending on the results with their mom, who's in flower now alone.

Based on my experimenting so far, LST seems to work best for me in my space in terms of training, although I've found topping useful also, especially to help delay the development of the plants in veg while they're waiting for room in the flower chamber.

But, LST seems to give me the most control over the final shape of the plant, allowing me to "mold" it to my small grow space.

The PE Mom is just finishing her fourth week of flower, marking close to the half-way point, and I was pretty suprised to find that she had almost NO stretch in flower. She grew maybe 25% or so, but nowhere near the 100%-200% that I expected, or is common.

I'm attributing some of this to the fact that I am keeping the lights closer and the rest (and most!) of it to the pheno, so I'll definately keep this in mind when I flower her clones.

Unfortunately, this means her colas are much smaller than either the AK or the Haze I harvested, so I'm hoping those lights being closer will result in much denser and better developed buds or the yield may be smaller than EITHER of the two plants that were flowered together!

On a better note, this plant smells absolutely incredible!!! :grinjoint:

I've heard that this strain has unbelievable "bag appeal" in terms of both look and smell, but this girl has this strong pineapple/diesel smell that, like so many other beautiful girls I've known, has the effect that once I start handling her, I can't stop smelling my fingers for hours after! :)

I definately can't wait to start taking samples!

I trimmed a bunch of her fan leaves, and her tips are just a little nute burned (yeah...I made a strong batch of nutes by mistake and realized it beforehand but figured she could handle it!), but here's how she looks today:
