DIY Grow Box 2nd Grow

i was laid off Nov of 08!!! But i, and others here, are finding potential future careers should MJ be decriminalized. I might grow and bake for dispensaries. MountainHigh takes wonderful photos - i can see a coffeetable book! Someone else (i forget who) was thinking of insuring MJ entities.... We may think we are poor - we are just the vanguard of a new era. DROJO - with your nursing background, i can see you monitoring Medical MJ dosing in hospitals!!!!

Not a problem my friend, that info was really interesting to read. what is real funny I worked full time last year and only made a grand total of 15 almost 16 thousand dollars. That was at about 10 dollars an hour, nothing to show for it but my car note is being paid, morgage got paid and other bills got paid.

The average person has no health care, jobs are less and less but the cost of living is going up and up. The thing that pisses me off this that our lazy congressman or woman, senaters and Governors in our government are living like kings. They have money rolling out of their ears, more food than they can eat, and get freebies paid for by the taxes of the American people. It sounds like every civialization through-out history has robbed their people blind, nothing has changed but the technogly. Government/Kings/Empires are damn near the same thing but under a different name.

Haha of course im gettin my LPN now which is sorta like a junior nurse. But i plan on getting my RN and moving to a legal state, so the option will definitely be there to do that. Thanks for the ideas. I wish your son the best too...

Well today I installed our panda film in the flowering and veg area's. It looks really nice I think, not perfect but useable...lol

Here are a couple photos the 1st one is how our grow area looks now and the other two are plant photos.

I cleared out some of the smaller baby buds in the center of her, to help create fatter main buds.. I don't know if it will help but oh well.

This photo is how our 1024 looks after being cloned on monday the 15th.

She is recovering very nicely. She will be ready to flower in about a week or so..I can't wait. I just want to see how many clones survive first before I flower her.

Been catching up on your journal bro, some great suggestions going on there.

And some good glimpse of the boat most of us are in. I never feel poor, except when it comes to buying stuff :ganjamon:. I have a great wife and my health is returning slowly, I am a rich man.

Well I got the panda film up and inplace today and also switched the rooms to how they are suppost to be. I still haven't made our light yet, will be at least a couple weeks for that to get done.

The clones are doing very well and have not wilted one bit (yet) It's only day 3 so that's a good sign I hope. They got placed in ther new grow area that's 1x3 with the shop light right above the dome. I spayed them down and they are happy. They will stay warmer in there so that's a good thing.

Our flowering area is for the most part done, besides the light to be made. It looks alot brighter in there, I'm thinking about just adding (2-3) more 42 watt cfl's and call it good. Any thoughts on that matter? Right now we're running (2) 42 watt (1) 32 watt and (2) 13 watt cfl (2700)bulbs it equals about 600 total watts in a 2x3 area. Should I add more light, I think so but what do I know...lol:yahoo:

Well I put our other 1024 in the dark for 48 hours today. so there will two plants growin in there come Sat.

They both need a little duct tape but are done for the most part. I got a small fan to go in the smaller veg area and have a 4ft vertical fan to create a flow of air in the flowering area. Wow that shop light looks really bright in there.. Those clones are gonna love it!!:grinjoint:

Wow it's been a good day over all and I'm ready for a couple cold coffee's and some meds to relax!!

This my take on the lights and how I do mine. Yep, I have two grow boxes which are in action at the moment.
The way I look at lights are in lumins...not watts. Your grow room has 30 sq ft. In my mind and in the articles I've read if you can get your lumins up to 30,000 per sq foot your in grow room you will be in the sweet zone, anything more than that is gravy. I have 14 CFLs in my big box and it has 38,000 lumins. My plants love it. The reason I have so many lights in the box is that I bought the lights before I knew all this. I have all sizes in there, so actually I think it's better. They cover the light spectrum pretty well. I have also configured them so they light from the sides too, another plus.

When your plants are small just a few CFLs will do and as they grow you can add more at anytime.

This just my take on lights on the cheap and it has worked for me. :grinjoint:

Yup it's same space as in our first journal just split and panda film put up..

Thanks for that lumins info as well, I just figured out we are running 10,800 lumins in our 2x3 space, I'm really thinking I should add more.
So far our flowering lady has really nice dence buds started and the smell is just outstanding.

38,000 lumins damn I bet your ladies do love it!!! Rock on dude!!:cheertwo:
 
hey those cfls look like they're about 6-8 inches high.. u can bring em down to about 2-4" ;)
