DirtyDanny's 600 Watt LED Grow

Did ANOTHER heavy defol this morning to get more light to the forming nugs on the shorter branches..............
The sap is VERY sticky and abundant!
I sure hope the nugs turn out as thick and gooey as the leaves.

Berfore defol:

What came off of her (all about hand size):

It still amazes me how fast she puts the foilage back on after I strip her down......oh, and I just left the roots protruding from the bottom of the air-pot to air prune themselves

Quick update............
Went camping all this week and came home to a sad and thirsty girl:oops:
Gave her another dose of full strength FF nutes and she seems much happier this morning!
Nugs are starting to form nicely:thumb:

Upon further observation.......... I see that she is "bleeding" again, but now from several sites? WTF?

Alrighty then.................finally found the good camera and played around with her a bit........

She's finally getting some crazy stretch now......but still really tight with leafs stacking on leafs.
Looks like its time for another heavy defol to get some light to the lower branches,
or maybe a lil LST is in order?

Ok........I got a little brainstorming going on today.
I was looking at my grow setup this morning and trying to figure out how to streamline things a bit.
My LED light is approx 1' x 3-1/2'........ but by baby girl is relatively round,so not exactly the best configuration for maximum light exposure.
So i starting researching light rotators.
Well.........thats a No Go as it would tangle the cord and make a mess!
And then it came to me.......an electric lazy susan to rotate the plant as opposed to rotating the light:thumb:
Did a bunch on googleing and only came up with WAY overpriced crap.
Happened to search on ebay a bit and found and bought this:

Dollhouse Electric Turntable 12x12" NIB Free Shipping | eBay

What do you guys think? Is this a good $40 investment to gain better light exposure?
Sounds better than the $200+ lazy susans I was finding on the web....

You really did a lot of defoliating. Looking great. +Reps

Thanks Scarfinger:thanks:
Trust me........I never even posted 75% of the defol I performed on this girl!
Once a week I have to do a heavy defol or she just turns into a huge ball of leafs....
Ive never seen a plant put on such heavy foilage in all my days.
Im not sure if its just the strain or the LED light or the combination of the two.
Who knows? But I like it!
In my opinion.........this LED will grow circles around a HPS/MH....im VERY impressed with the results thus far

Hope you didn't buy the one at the link ... I don't think it's motorized ... I think you have too much light to make a turntable useful ... if you had a small light then a turntable could increase your yield ... as it is I would raise the light to 36"+ and let the plant start to open up ...

Good lookin out Chester............I cancelled the order and bought the 10kg one you posted.
I finally moved the light up to as high as it will go...........its about 30" from the canopy.
Ive been wanting to do a lil LST but I think I waited too long, and now the branches are very stiff and unforgiving.
I fear I will break a branch so im just gonna let it ride..........it is what it is:thanks:

Its a E-shine 600 watt LED 11 band.............it works REALLY well in my opinion, but its my 1st LED light so I cant compare it to anything else to know the difference.
I do know that it works MUCH better than a 600 watt hps i used years ago......EXPLOSIVE growth in both veg and flower!
I dont know shit about led light color spectral bands and all that crap..........but it seems like they got it right with this light.

Hey I'm not sure if you've seen this technique before but it's super simple and would help you get the most out of your light! Train the plain a little bit. So tie some string to each one of the main stems and then tie it off away from the plant. Not too much or the stem will snap, but you will get better light coverage. I'll see if I can find a good link!
