my light arrived big thanks Jason and twilight led!

My plan is to use this as my veg cab light . I have a phone app that senses lux and colour temp .
Heres a shot with just white @10"

and another with just blue @10" it jumps between 1500k up to 100+ 000 k

And both white and blue @ 10"

Its just a phone app my reading could be off but will this colour temp be ok to veg under im currenty under a t5ho thats about 6200k and 20 000 lux @ 4"..
What do you think about the colour temps guys?

.... My girls are looking pretty good IMO... I've only had it up for 3 days but so far so good...ill have to admit I don't know if it is 7 or 9 band but I really don't care as long as it grows some purty flowers and so far they are growing so we shall see...

I know what you mean every cola on my gsc is about even now and with all the new growth there's a whole lot more of them now .I added couple CFL bulbs around the light just to give a little more white in there .your plants are looking nice dennise.

I just checked my app seems the spider 4 cob has way more lux then the 864w.

OH, Man! SPIDER COB grow light is the new series with NEW tech. of LED chip, NEW type of Lens, that is definitely better than LED light with 3w! how is the plants after you put one more lamp? are they happy?

That is great to see the pics of your lamp! your lamps is White and Blue color, so the Lux is larger than lamp with RED/Blue. I will be exciting to see your journal with this lamp!

the blue peaks 445nm. Id like to swap some white leds to 660nm reds it will be a really cool light with the dial.. i think there very well made very neat! thanks

I'm pretty sure mine I suppose to have heat sink fins under the hood. Like your 300 watts has them but my 864 Watt doesn't?? Jason is this correct?

I would think mine creates way more heat than a 300w

It looks like dots of thermal paste there but no heatsink? Mine has screws through the circuit board like james's light above they go through into the heatsink .. your light would draw 450+watts? does it get warm?

Yes it get warm, I've got an extra fan blowing onto the internal fans. It's manageable... But a little worrisome.
