Thanks mad been a busy day on the derby farm today and just getting ready to meet up with lopin for some dinner and drinks. Got a party on the patio tomorrow at a good friend's house (sicivan here on 420) and Monday a bit of rest before the cup finals start at 8.
Hope your weekend is filled with family, friends, and fun. Take care

Running 10 gall fabric pots for the comparative. Auto Growers United on here say the bigger the bag the bigger the plant/haul i believe them. I hated autos the first time i ran them lol. They was weird to me. Reckon we will find out if it holds up. But Troy getting 15 zips out of a 7 gall gives me hope.
Im with them. It just make sense. Even in hydro, the better/bigger the root system the better/bigger/more successful your plant will be... barring an outside problem. Im using 10 gallon pots (one 7) plants are doing well

You can get huge colas and plants in any growing medium.. rdwc does it faster, no doubts there. The plants genetics play the biggest part in how big your buds will be.
Agree

Just a quick update. The 4 clones(2 ww & 2 cbdutch treat) under my light are just chugging along and really putting on some weight. I've not looked into them for about 3 weeks and things are looking good. I talked awhile back about coring the roots with a drill bit but I wanted to come up with a way anyone could do it. So I took a long piece of 12 gage solid core wire (nomex split using just 1 tap) and started to shove it in and around the plant gaging it to go about 3/4 of the way to the bottom. I did this all around all 4 plants with about 10-12 holes. This should let more nutes and oxygen into the lower part of the pot. I've had really massive root ball's that consume the whole pot by doing this.
The 2 hand feeders both clones are suffering some from me just being able to only feed twice a day. Both are very light before feeding and have some dryer leaves on them and aren't bulking up like the ones on the auto waterer. In fall I'm going to have to build another watering system if I'm going to be running 8 flowering plants in my big tent.
2 out of the 4 beans are above ground on my comparative grow.
