DephOne's First Grow - Unknown Strain

Re: DephOne's First Grow... Unknown Strain

My first reconstruction was on a Dell Compaq HP with the intel board processor. (My first PC). I took apart as much as i could, *without breaking anything or removing things i didn't have equipt. to put back on.*

Never shocked myself. I always grounded first.

Oh I love a english accent, most of my favorite films were made by the English, can anybody say "ABSOULTLY FABULOUS" I love Eddie and Patsy/grace

I quite fancy the accent myself.

you cant electrocute yourself in a home computer unless you crack open the PSU...what you can do is electrocute the computer with YOUR electric charge ;)

lol dell/compaq/hp/intel thats quite a mash up! lol
was that a P1? wondering if you missed out on the glory days of 286/386? =D

Re: DephOne's First Grow... Unknown Strain

I lied, i just threw all those in there Cause I couldnt remember the name. XD

It was a Dell Optiplex GX280

It had an Intel Pentium 4 - 3.0GHz HT Processor, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 80GB SATA Hard Drive, DVD-ROM Drive, and my favorite OS of all time... Windows XP

I later upgraded it to 2 GB's of Ram and a Western Digital 160GB sata HD

Edit: I now have my Dell Inspiron 1501 Laptop that i'm currently using. And a Dell HP Studio Mini with a 1.73GHz Pentium dual-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and a Western Digital 320GB hard drive. Running Windows Vista OS

Damn sorry grace I always end up with the lighter in my pocket even when it's not mine! :passitleft:

Greeting DephOne :ciao:
I would like to put some input in on the flourecent lights specfically they 24" wally lights. The ones I purchased and am currently using are great for veg! They appear as a blue spectrum but the bulbs actually say 7800k on them. Visit my gallery or my journal and look at the new additions to my garden. Those two were sprouted all the way to current under only 3 of those lights. They are now 6 weeks old and showing alternate nodes (maturing). They are a bit steep in price for one but if you have the funds they are great. They don't seem to carry the replacement bulbs though. I plan to switch out 3/4 of the bulbs to cool white when i goto flower moving them to side lighting and purchasing these monster cfl's that are 42w to replace a 150-200w light bulb at 2700k. UGH rambling again sorry if i lost you anywere or you have questions im sub'd to your journal I will be around :goof:

Thats so cute! your pretty new to the hardware game then. my first propper PC was a 486 dx4 which was elite!!(had a 120 Mhz cpu, most at the time peaked at 100)..cant really compare it to modern stuff, its like a race, one is in a f1 race car...the other is in good running shoes =D

lol at ddr2, im guessing you have never seen a Simm? Singline inline memory module ;)

few people compare to me when it comes to storage however, thats how i got my name Gig Bane. ppl were still using floppy drives when i was using gigabyte raid arrays...these days i have a storage farm of 83terrabytes, but the name stuck and is with me for life.

Re: DephOne's First Grow... Unknown Strain

Pray tell, what does one do with a storage farm of terrabytes? This computer talk is interesting, continue.

lol if i could, i would back up the internet!
failing that, i just store and protect anything i consider valuable human knowledge. everything from how to extract fresh water from the air to diy nuclear bombs oO

In other words.. 83 terabytes is equivalent 166,000 Gigabites. That is one HELL of an amount of files. I have a 1/2 tb external, i'm only using about 280 of it. plus my 320GB internal HD

Re: DephOne's First Grow... Unknown Strain

Lol..Hey mate, why not???It be mad havin a climber setup for ya weed! Basically a vert Scrog, awsum:)havent seen that on here yet! You could be the first.. But anyways back to reality - your girls did stretcha bit at first hey! Good in ya for fillin cups with more soil, and they do need overhead light at this stage, once they get bit older you can have some lighting on sides to help lower canopy as well as on top. Your choice of lighting should be ok and you will see her develop fairly quikly once she's ready for em, about an inch a day is average..I love it, just about every stage of growing is fun.. Anyway any probs or questions if ya wanna ask ill do my best, but sum great guys here too keen to help. We've all been thru problems, one way or another! We're ALL IN THIS TOGETHER:high-five: So goodluk andhappy harvesting;) Smokem..
