Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

Just a short update. Everybody was watered today per Kings suggested nutes..:adore: The closet girls look amazing and the girl to the left of stretch armstrong is now as tall....:woohoo: The group babies are still lovin' their new led's and the clone family 5 are getting ready to be twisted a bit more and will probably twist a bit on the group babies while they are still all pliable....:loopy:

Those look like flowers I could sniff all day.

Well I finally did it... The Sugar Black Rose is the only one I have, no other seeds and no clones so I was thinking I might really like her and if I do what a pain to go thru to get more of her unless I took a clone but she so looked like she needed opening up instead so I did it. I made her bleed and I don't think I

liked it.....:green_heart:

Hi,
looks ok to me, the clones in the first part of the clone tray look ok and should do ok, but is the one in the middle of the tray a clone as well, if it is then you need to lost a lot more leaf from it and id also lose the 2 side nodes on it as well and just have the top part above soil level, you want it to look like the 2 clones in the top part. maybe the middle one isnt a clone and its just what you chopped off to open it up,

you should get more growth now you opened it up, give it a few days to recover then rapid growth will return.

Actually the 2 little ones were by mistake and just didn't want to toss them so stuck em in rooting powder and stuck em' in but the one in the middle is the top. I thought if I scrap the sides and dip in rooting powder and put it in the medium that it would root just like a clone. Granted there may be too much veg on it but I had her LST'd pretty tight and that is why she is facing down plus to be honest I kinda screwed up and cut her a node further down than I intended to. :thedoubletake: I was hoping by morning she would be looking for the cfl she is under and I was going to give her a trim then. I have the lid where she has enough room to turn towad the top and the light. Do you think I am ok to leave her to her own till in the morning to see if she adjust herself toward the light. They were just feed this morning so if nothing else she should be able to sustain herself for a little while especially as huge as I cut her..:tokin:

yep you should be ok till then, just give the leaves a good spray with water so its got plenty of moisture at the leaves and you should be ok till them, that way you know for sure if its going to work or not,

if not then cut it back as small as the other clones, maybe just a tad bigger but ive found smaller clones work best, but others argue slightly bigger clones work better.

ive even took clones and they have only been 2cm above soil level and with these ive never needed to put a dome over them as the stem cant wilt as their is very little stem to wilt, but bigger clones wilt within a few hours, so just play around and see what works out for you, i find smaller clones work better for me and i only take 1 clone now from the strains i want to clone knowing it will root with no problems,

your plant looks very healthy though, a nice colour to it, or color depending where in the world you are

DonPaul the Clone family 5 in the box are the first clones I did. I took 1 each from the closet girls but then 2 of them turned to he's but I had already unlabeled the clones when I replanted them so I don't know which ones were taken from the she/he's hence the reason there are still 5 but they did all live......... Of course that is bag seed and the one I tied up and cut today is a nice one I'm thinking... Sorry I'm rambling. Just got shook up when I realized how far I had cut her and now the next 10 days will drag..... I regress.......:passitleft:

Looking good D! I think of pipe-cleaners now when I see your posts! Here's is what I made from a pipe cleaner the other day, I snapped a branch when training, it was dangling by a thread, I made this "breathing cast" from a pipe cleaner and saved the branch, next time you snap a branch, maybe you can save it! Your plant/s look great :bravo:
