Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

Ohhhh myyyyy... As much as I love my animals... and make no mistake... There are few humans that even come close.... I don't know that I could've saved him if he had done that to my 1930 Indian... Assuming Chief... That makes my heart hurt...:thedoubletake:.....:circle-of-love:

101 scout was a real shame cause they are only original once, the pit left him enough to build a racer out of it and he actually sold it for more:)

Guess what .... Guess what.... I haven't lost my mojo...:yahoo: The auto Sugar Mango popped yesterday and when I got up this morning there was a new baby Blue Cheese popping her little head out at me... Still not seeing the Crop Circle auto and the first one I planted to use in Tim's memorial grow... The G14... It still has not showed her little head and I'm not thinking she is going to... The Money Maker photo I put in the can has a tiny little tap and it doesn't look good... It kinda looks brown but I stuck it in the pot of dirt with the G14 and just stuck it up in a window seal... I don't expect to ever see their little heads pop up but I'll give em' the chance to rethink their current situation... Both of those beans were really old and have been through some abuse so there is really no telling what happened... I have one more bean in the can... a Pineapple Chunk photo/fem and she has a small tap but I only put her in there on Fri so I will give her another day to push a little more of the tap on out then put her to dirt.... If none of the rest pop it's OK and if one or all of them decide to surprise me... That will be alright too.....:circle-of-love:

I've got to water the Baby Tut and will take some pics of her then.... I have been cutting the light back an hour a day and will be at 12/12 for the first day tomorrow.... She is throwing pistols and is ready to go... I think she is quite pretty too and I can't wait to see her full of fat dripping stick flowers...:yahoo:.. I'll also update Tim's memorial girl then too..:circle-of-love:

Ok here we go... The Baby Tut is on what I will call her last day of veg... She popped on 11/18 and was put in baby soil and potted up to veg on 12/13 so tomorrow will make 50 days in veg and 74 days alive... She is now in the 2'x2' Secret Jardin tent under the Twilight Spider4... I really do hope this light doesn't die before this grow is done... She really does seem to like the Spider4... Here she is in all her glory...:).....:circle-of-love:

Love that Tut! What a great little girl. Last day of veg is kinda like last day of childhood. You should throw her a bat mitzvah! We should all throw our plants parties at flip to celebrate their coming of age!

Bob likes any excuse for a party ;)

In the keg fridge right now is a proper west coast IPA at about 8% we call Big C. All "C" hops. Columbus, Centennial, Cascade, etc. It is dry hopped with 2 OZs of Centennial with a stainless weight holding the bag down at the bottom of the keg around the pickup tube.

Actually, strike that. It floated last night. Time to brew! But there is never a time when this house doesn't have some overtly piny/grapefruity monstrosity of an IPA floating around.

I like 'em cold and bitter.
Bob ;)

OK this is Olivia... My memorial girl for Tim...She popped on the 22nd so today is 9 days old... She is currently all by herself in the Mars Hydro 2'3"x2'3" tent under a M-H 96x3w reflector and I added a 48x3w reflector yesterday and am running them both with the veg and bloom switches on... Delicious Seeds.. Jota Mayuscula Purple auto....:circle-of-love:

Hi Dennise, I love what you've done with the place :circle-of-love:

I'm as fresh as newbs come. Looking at some of your past pics, I think I saw that you top your soil with hydroton. Do you? Also, what benefit does topping soil with solid 'inorganic' material provide?

:thanks:

:passitleft: High Human... I use it for a very unconventional reason.... I have type 1 diabetes and the nerve issues that go with it and I also have MS... so when I water I tend to be a bit heavy handed and I was literally putting indentions in the top of the soil so bad that you could see the top of the root ball sometimes... So the first thing I did {cause that is what I had on hand} was topped them with marbles... it worked beautifully but was a real pain to recollect them at the end of the grow so I found the hydroton but it helps disperse the water more evenly and doesn't leave holes in my soil...:;):... Hope that explains it a bit... If you have any questions that I can help you with please feel free to post them up.... If I don't know the answers I have some really smart folks that travel through here from time to time and can usually get ya an answer pretty quickly.....:welcome:....:circle-of-love:

Hello Olivia. May I call you "O"? That letter comes easily since my wife's best friend is Olga but she is referred to as "O" or Auntie "O":) :circle-of-love::peace:

Wow. I learn something new every day. I did not realize that was why you topped your girls with hydroton. I have to admit. My MS has me a little heavy handed on the watering also. I continue to learn from you my friend!!!:Namaste::circle-of-love::peace:

Looking great Dennise.

I would think about adding the 48x3 to your Tut.

Dark I have the Baby Tut under the Spider4 and I have the 96x3 and 48x3 in the veg tent... I will ultimately have 2 autos in the veg tent that will live their whole lives in there and I had originally thought I would use the 96x3 and the Mars II 400 but if I do that I have to deal with heat....This way... It's not even an issue.... The Tut is in a 2'x2' tent and the Spider4... It is a 432w lamp... pulling 240 actual from the wall.... giving me 60 true watts per sq ft.... I have a couple of the original little lights from Mars Hydro and could put 1 of them in there too but I just really don't think I need to.... and the Twilight Spider4 does put out a lot more heat and if I put so much as a cfl in there I am going to have to hang the fan and filter back in there then there is not going to be enough room soooooo I'm going with... it ain't broke so I think I will let her be... I am just hoping this light will continue to work for the entire flowering... I haven't had a lot of luck with Twilight but the one and only time I was able to finish a run with the Spider... They were by far some of my densest buds.... Keeping my fingers crossed..... :circle-of-love:

My daddy used to tell me if you want to find the easiest way to do a difficult task.... Give that task to the laziest person you know... I resemble that remark...:yikes:....:circle-of-love:

Guess what ..Guess what... I know I have gotten my mojo back...:yahoo: The Pineapple Chunk popped today... I took pics but didn't have the photo card in the camera and I don't know where the patch cord is so guess your gonna have to take my word for it... I'll do a complete photo shoot when she pops her head but she did have a nice tap root...:yahoo: She will be my second girl for the memorial grow so she will need a name... Her partner is Olivia or "O" as Super calls her... Sooo if you have any suggestions for a name please post them up....:circle-of-love:
