Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

I have 2 of the 144x5w reflectors and several of the Mars II 400's that are also 5w and they do penetrate a bit better and I haven't noticed any real difference with the heat out of the 5w over the 3w... I wouldn't argue that there are better lights out there.... but IMO for the money they just simply can't be beat.... I still heavily defol my gals and that helps with any penetration issues and I like to keep them kinda short so I do a bit of LST... also to try and keep an even canopy .... well that's when I have a normal garden going with several girls in it... KingJohnC gave me a formula of actual draw of 50w per sf for flowering is optimal and I have found that to be a very good number to work with.... I actually have 2 of the Mars II's in the 2'3" x 2'3" tent which is almost 100 actual watts per sf but it's only because I can and I wanted to see if it makes a difference in the bud density and so far I would have to say it does cause since I moved her in there her buds are majorly bulking up but anyhow I digress.... I think if you liked your 48x3w reflectors.... your gonna love the 5w ones.....:circle-of-love:

Thanks so much for all of that! Great information from a real person doing great grows. :cheertwo:

A Mars 400 in the flowering tent with a 48 on each side of it, hmmmm. That might be nice with the 2 leftover 48w panels in the veg tent.

How high do you keep your LEDs off the plants. I have honestly drifted closer and closer while I have been away from here and now I read about folks keeping things 15-20'' and more away. Mine are only about 10'' off and a couple buds are closer than that.

I may have to change my signature to Dr Bob, leaching good information off of great growers since 2014!

:thanks:

I just found kitty in the mixing bowl that I had mixed a batch of cannabrownies in..
:)... Kitty has a major buzz...:circle-of-love:

My friend has starting giving her 14 year old cat with oral cancer infused olive oil, a couple of drops a day. In the last 2 weeks she has put on weight, acting like herself again and the lesion in her mouth is no longer angry and red and is shrinking. Another MMJ miracle!! :peace:

Kitty isn't even 5 months old yet but I did treat my MinPin with eatables that I made for her and it did keep her with me for 3 years that the vet said she wouldn't make.... I honestly think if I had caught the cancer earlier that maybe it could have cured that but she still had type 1 diabetes and there's just no getting around that.... I do completely give the credit to the eatables for keeping her alive and comfortable for 3 years.... I just wish with all my being that I had found the cancer earlier... I had no idea what a hole my Baby Girl was going to leave in my heart....
Anywho... happy to see you about Super and hope things have calmed down in your neck of the woods...:yikes:....:circle-of-love:

I took the babies out of the tent today to water them and got a few pics... I'm still not seeing but a couple of ambers on the ULH auto... I don't know why she is taking so long but she is still stacking buds and throwing pistols so I guess she will finish up eventually... She is under the 144x5w reflector all by herself...91 days from seed...:circle-of-love:

Dagwood buds..

They look like Dagwood dogs... Oh, maybe Australian term.... Corn dogs, you get at the show/carnival....

Do you get better results with one plant per light rather than planting 2 or 3 in the same area? Your grows are amazing.
No not really... I just have 2 girls going right now cause I'm going to shut things down for the winter and I still had 2 tents up so I doubled up the lights in the little tent over the WW and left the ULH under the 144x5 by herself for no other reason than I can...:;): but I have grown just as big and larger with several girls crammed in these tents.....:circle-of-love:

Most certainly an Aussie term I think... but they do look like corn dogs... Fella calls them "buds on a stick"....:circle-of-love:
