Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

No not really... I just have 2 girls going right now cause I'm going to shut things down for the winter and I still had 2 tents up so I doubled up the lights in the little tent over the WW and left the ULH under the 144x5 by herself for no other reason than I can...:;): but I have grown just as big and larger with several girls crammed in these tents.....:circle-of-love:

Most certainly an Aussie term I think... but they do look like corn dogs... Fella calls them "buds on a stick"....:circle-of-love:

In America a Dagwood would be a multi layered sandwich with many different kinds of meat, referenced after a comic book heroe Dagwood Bumstead and his wife Blondie

They sell compilations of the Dagwood and Blondie in my grocery store with the Arthur and Jugheads. Now that I think of it, Jughead must have smoked cannabis. I mean come on, the guy had the munchies non stop. Hmmm, makes ya think.

I've got some more pics of the auto ULH... I think she is finally starting to finish up... The tent was getting way to cold at night for a couple of days and I have rectified that... it did seem to stall her for a week or 2 but she is moving right along again and it did make her absolutely beautiful.... I can't stop staring at her...:yikes:....:circle-of-love:

Yeah, I think Archie was his dealer......made no sense for those two to hang around together otherwise.

I finally found the recipe Doc.... I'm just going to post it here cause I have had several request for it... so here ya go.....
Baby soil:
2 gallon ProMix HP
2 qts perlite
1 cup compost
1/4 cup yum-yum (organic nutes)
3 Tbsp beneficial mycorrhiza (Growology step 1 is what I use)
1.5 cups water

Veg soil:
6 gallons ProMix
1 gallon perlite
3 qts worm castings
6 cups compost
3.5 cups yum-yum
1 cup azomite
2 Tbsp beneficial mycorrhiza
1 qt water

bloom soil:
15 gallons ProMix
3 gallons perlite
1 gallons worm castings
3 qts compost
2 qts Yum-Yum
3 cups azomite
1.5 cups Bat Guano
2 cups rock phosphate
2.5 qts water

There is a farm around here I get my compost and worm casting from and they are very high quality IMO.... I have tried the bag of worm castings off cramazon and they work fine but not as well as the Red Bud Farm castings and I assume there is someplace to get compost around there... especially with everything being legal you shouldn't have any trouble finding these things and finding them in quality and quantity... I love this soil and honestly only add water and the essential oils in a foliar as mentioned and I have harvested better quality, quantity, tasting, and smoother smoking by far from PJ's soil......:circle-of-love:

Great photos and excellent looking plants D.
Fantastic work, thanks for sharing.

:laughtwo::laughtwo::laughtwo: Astute observation there! Archie kept him around as a trimmer come harvest time too. Just keep burgers in front of him and he will trim until his fingers are black and sore.

Hey Ms. D.
Your auto is looking nice.
Thanks Cajun... She is about to finish on up.... She certainly isn't a fast one but she looks like she will be worth the wait.. The other one I have already chopped..... I was just smoking her for the first time since right after the chop and originally gave her a 6- and she is certainly up to a 7 and I think this one will be even better... I actually think she will be a lot better...:).....:circle-of-love:

Bob, a couple of notes:

In my personal soil mix I don't use compost. Rather, I use about 5 x the amount of high quality organic potting soil as the amount of compost specified in Denise's recipe. Typically I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest. It's easy to come by and great dirt - a little hot on it's own. Denise got the compost from Red Bud Farms, a nursery she can drive to where they also have nice castings. I adjusted the recipe to incorporate the Red Bud Farms compost. How much do we love that Denise gets dirt stuff from a place called Red Bud Farms???

Be careful where you read "compost." That stuff she has is good shite.

The guano in the flowering recipe must be high phosphorous (the middle number in the 0-0-0 range.) The soil mix uses high brix principals and limits potassium. Look for guano that is 0-13-0.

Yum Yum has a bit of a cult following among xeric gardeners in the Southwest. It is mixed by Soil Mender. You can search that and look at their products. They have a dealer locator. It is fairly regional. If you can find it locally you'll save a bundle. I get 25# for $35.00... Shipping is a bitch. Cannabis seems to love the stuff.

I had wondered what I was going to do about the compost issue as nothing is really available locally and quality would possible be questionable without some more research. On the other hand I can get FF Ocean Forest at the same place I will be getting almost everything else. I will just use that to stay safe. So I think you are saying I would use (for veg) 30 cups or 7 and a half QUARTS (EDIT:Ooops) of the FFOF; making right at 10 g of soil total (Another edit ooops. Quarts vs gallons makes a big difference right?)?

Good thing on the guano as I couldn't find nitrogen rich and could only find the kind you suggest.

I just bit the bullet and ordered the Yum Yum mix. Got a 12.5# bag shipped for $28. Not terribly painful given the size of my grows. I can join the cult as well.

Thanks so much for the help to you and Denise. You all are just cool beans!

Hi di ho Neighbors... I have a few pics of the WW... She is 92 days in flower and she is absolutely covered in trichs...:yahoo: I will most likely chop her tomorrow... She is about 30% amber now and I'm afraid if I wait any longer she will start to degrade.... She still looks like she is throwing a few pistols but guess we will see what tomorrow brings........:circle-of-love:
