Thanks Celt... To be honest... I've entered those contest so many times and never won that I'm starting to question my growing ability...:thedoubletake: I look at some of the winning entries and it starts to look like a popularity contest IMO and apparently I'm not very popular...:)....:circle-of-love:

You are popular with me D. I have told you in the past, you were (and still are) one of my original inspirations on this site. It was watching you and your "Real person" take on the Mars-Hydro lights that really got me started. Thank you for being here. :circle-of-love::Namaste: :peace:
 
I guess it depends on who is voting LOL I generally vote for someone that has a nice plant that hasn't won before, I only entered once and waited till the last few days to vote. I wasn't in the running so gave my vote to someone else I thought deserving LOL

I like the way that one grew and am considering experimenting with trying to get limbs to root this winter when I attempt autos :)

It by far is showing purple better than anything I have grown too.... I actually think she is the prettiest thing I can remember growing... and she has had absolutely nothing but water... 3 doses of USS and 1 dose of oils......:circle-of-love:

I had a seedling die on me when I transplanted it too deep. The stem that had been exposed originally seemed to rot in the soil and the poor kid keeled over.

Yes Ma'am.... they were really sturdy mature branches that got buried and she was probably somewhere around 8 weeks old when I did the first layer... so maybe if you let them grow a bit longer before you "plant them" it will work better... You can tell when you are looking at the plant that they are growing like separate plants cause the color on them is different... there are 3 specific bunches and they look totally different in color... I tried to get it on the camera but I suck at it.... but I really do think I hit on something accidentally....:circle-of-love:

Yeah I usually vote for someone else too and try to wait till the end of the month to see if I can help out someone... but I do vote for what I think is the best entry... Good job PJ btw.....:circle-of-love:

High Magic.... She was born on 6-16 and flipped on 8-9... so 55 days in veg and she has been in flower for 81 days.....:circle-of-love:
 
Dennise your a 420 star and pillar of this community! It happens to us all in the comps, last years POTY lol. My flux versus a tiny purp plant and I stood no shot lol??

On the rooting limbs bit you have set the mad workings going in my head :)
So Ive got a big flat planter in my back garden for my veggies. Well once back from my trip ill be planting the worlds biggest flux! My tent on its side and 2 meters long :)
My missus will be cursing you for setting me off again lol :)

do you happen to remember if there were any nodes that were accidentally covered with the soil when you transplanted her? Maybe the itty bitty one that seems to be at the bottoms of the stem?

That was the issue Canna.... I didn't repot her... As soon as I had legs under her I potted her up in her final home in veg soil and had to top dress her with the flowering amendments.... At this point I buried the bottom limbs at the curve where they turn up. I actually don't know if I covered up any nodes at that time.... But I would have to guess that there is... Sorry for the sucky answer:)....

You answered it perfectly. For some reason I was thinking you had totally repotted her. Guess I should have read back a bit. LOL
I have one plant in veg that has plenty of room to top and it will cover up the bottom nodes, I'm going to give it a try and see what comes about with it. :)
 
I really do think that is the reason for all the buddage.... I have never seen anything like it..... I wish I could show it in a pic but it literally looks like 3 different plants in color and the colas are amazing..... There is little doubt that she is going to be one of my best producers:).....:circle-of-love:
