Thanks Craw... I hit them so hard with the garden hose I think the mites are most likely in the next county and I did exactly what you said about focusing several time yesterday and it works quite well..... Thought I was going to lose the battle a couple of times and just go full panic mode but was able to keep it from hitting a home run. My fella is home and that helps too. When all was said and done got on the motorcycle and all was good......:circle-of-love:

Don't know if this will help dennise but u do know spiders don't like hedge balls Otherwise known as horse apples in the southbut I use them all the time in my house to keep spiders away. they work real well. Keep a couple in grow room too just in case. Can get at just about any supermarket. Worth a try, good luck.

Hi Buddy.... I have no idea what those are. I am from the south and live in the country so you would think I would know what something called a horse apple is but I don't have a clue. Can you explain for me please......:circle-of-love:

I am most certain I am OK stating it this time. Between the paranoia and fluxing bugs it ain't happening again. I know I can get a bunch more and possibly even better quality produce but if ya got to flux with all them nasty azz bugs and caterpillars and spiders!!!! I hate fluxing bugs and spiders and man they caused me a whole lot of work............:circle-of-love:

The 209 is ment to be applied with the feedings, but you can make a nice solution with it using a spray bottle and spray the leaves. It won't work as good as the 217, but it should help put up a little line of defense for the time being. The spidermites are so small that you may not even be able to see them, just because you don't see anything doesn't mean they're not there.

Like Spimp said, don't take plants from outside and bring them in, last thing we want is for the indoor gals to get bugs.

I think it will just be easier to show ya in pics what I ended up doing and thanks I have relaxed and am pretty much over it. I have done all I can and that room is sterilized. You could just about feel good if ya had to do surgery in there. I didn't even care that much about that particular girl as it was the last of the oops clones from the Sugar Black Rose and I have plenty but I freaked cause I was afraid they would hit my Wild Thai but I have been over her with a fine tooth comb and so far she is clean. I honestly think I caught them within the first 24 hours of hitting her. As it turned out I am pretty sure only the top cola had gotten hit. I went over the SBR inch by inch before and after blasting her and the only place there was any sight was the main cola top and there was no actual webbing at all. They were working on getting it done really fast but they hadn't even been on her long enough for that so they much have been eggs that hatched after I brought her in the house. Oh zhit.... I had her in the closet before I put her in the tent so guess I better go pull the girls out of there and sanitize it too.... Don't they just make some kinda bomb I can set off to kill these things... I'm tired.....:lot-o-toke: .......:circle-of-love:

Well I was till I just remembered I had put her in the closet before putting her in the tent and I now have 3 girls in the closet so have to go clean it now and I really am tired......:circle-of-love:


OK this is what ended up happening. After my fella took her outside for me and I got to checking her out really good her nodes were very swollen and all the pistils were brown and turned down and on close inspection with the loupe (which is what I was doing in the first place) the trichs were easily 30% amber so she got chopped. I hung her in the laundry room so as not to let her be around any of the other plants. I checked her and saw nothing moving under the loupe. This morning when I checked again with the loupe I saw 1 and threw it all out the door.... Then I went and retrieved it and did a bud wash with peroxide, water and lemon and never saw the first one in the wash or rinse, So they are now hanging on the door of the oven in the kitchen. I have again looked at every inch and can't see anything dead or alive. So with all that said this is what I got...... and I am amazed at how little trichs came off. Actually really amazed cause I blasted the flux out of it with the garden hose and then with I did the bud wash I was not real gentle to say the least. These plants never cease to amaze me........:circle-of-love:

Congrats on your harvest and sorry to hear about the spider mites. I had to deal with them last fall. I used neem oil which got rid of them but I didn't know your not supposed to put neem oil when the plant has formed buds or late flowering. Nasty tasting s**t. Good luck and don't panic it will work out.:circle-of-love:

I was so freaked yesterday Latin that I forgot I even had the neem oil and I didn't know you weren't supposed to use it in flower either so I'm thinking it is a good thing I forgot I had it or my smoke would mostly likely taste like zhit.....:circle-of-love:


I took a couple of pics of the box babies and the newly potted up Wild Thai clone... Sorry Broke Ass.... All the seeds popped and look healthy except the chocoloco and I can still see her little bent over stem but her little head still has not turned around and popped the medium but will give her a couple of more days..:circle-of-love:

congrats. you should consider not defoliating one plant at all and see if you like the buds more or less.
 
OK and lastly the final girl I will ever grow outside the AK fluxer was let loose today. I have tethers on each arm and I think the top is pretty level. It is going to have to be good enough cause if I don't let her go now she won't be able to finish outside and she ain't coming in so here we go vert.........:circle-of-love:

Just as an aside, spider mites do not like seaweed. If you are into it you can do foliar spraying with it twice a week for three weeks. Seaweed also helps the plant build up stores of anti freeze which can give cells the ability to withstand harsher temperature differences. This would matter when people grow outside and get flowering a little late and want to push a few extra weeks at 50 degrees at night.

The side benefit of foliar spray with seaweed is the mites don't like it and it's been shown that they will go to the plant next to it with no seaweed. Ounce of prevention sort of thing. But I know this is your last outdoor grow. Hey, you gave it a shot. You know what you're good at so...

Well I still can't really answer that question until I harvest the Wild Thai. The end result and product is what will make up my mind. My Top Leds have produced some hard azz dense and potent nugs and I smoked the Northern Lights last night for the first time since it got a really good cure on it and it just kicked my azz. Literally after about 5 one hit bongs I didn't want any more and I wasn't just buzzed I was fluxed up. So today I decided to look at it through the loupe and there is literally trichs stacked on top of trichs.... so with all that pointless zhit said if I had to choice this very minute I "know" the Top Leds can and do produce some resin layered gooey dense buds and I "think" the ZNets will too but I don't "know" it for sure yet so If I absolutely had to choice right now I would have to go with what I know and that's the Top Leds but if you ask me again after I harvest and cure the Wild Thai I might tell ya something totally different...:blushsmile:.....:circle-of-love:
