I must have asked this before, but I really do not remember the answer. You flush using molasses and does this do something to the taste, or what is the reason for this added to the flush water?

While the unsulfered molasses provides some simple carbohydrates the low ppm of the solution allows for additional nutrients to be removed by the roots from the plant, unsulfered molasses may also improve the taste of the cannabis.

A low PPM solution will allow the roots to leach nutrients back into the solution through osmosis and at the same time the plant will use the carbohydrates from the unsulfered molasses. This allows the plant to use stored nutrients in the leaves and medium during the harvest flush.

When I joined this site, you told me molasses can be added at any time. Since then I always use it because of the aroma and flavor it adds.
I've went through probably 2 gallons of molasses since last year! Lol best cheap additive there is. My plants haven't seen just plain water in ages.
Some swear it don't improve taste or aroma, did for me.

Funny side story, back when a friend of mine was in university. He showed me some archeological dig they were doing something related to his course, and they were trying to prove cannabis was around during the dinosaurs or his group was or something. and loan behold there was a fossil of what appeared to be a pot leaf. Seems the girl that checks on me.. or used to until Fri night was arrested by the fluxing cop that I sold my car to and lives back up in the hollow and what he busted her with was all mine. She took me to Charleston a few months back to pick up my Benz. My sister had left it to me when she died. When we got there we took the Benz to the shop to make sure all was in good shape to drive back here and when we left it we went to the beach. I put my pills in her bottle she had in her purse so I wouldn't have to take my big old bottles and I plain ass forgot about them and so did she. She is not a drug person. She was arrested right after leaving here Fri night and I know for a fact she was stoned cold sober so I have spent most of today and yesterday getting her an attorney and making sure they know they are my pills. She tried to stop me from telling them they were mine but I am totally legal on all my meds and it is totally my fault she was caught with my meds. I feel so bad about this and have to find a way to get her out of this. I did get her an attorney today that really has a problem with the Azz hole that arrested her. This just blows cause he is my closest neighbor on the left side of me and his father is the closest neighbor I have behind me. Mind you that is a ways off on both accounts but now when my fella is gone I no longer have her to check on me cause she is scared to death to come back here now and the closest neighbors I would just as soon not be helped. Where I am going with this is does anyone know how I should proceed with letting them know they were my meds? Should I just give it to the attorney and let it go from there or is there some way I can just go to the courts and tell them? This girl was just getting back on her feet and her mom is sick and dying. I just have to do something to help her get out of this cause it is just wrong.... Any feed back you guys have would be great. I just don't know what to do.....

He was a nice judge....I had to prove that each one of pills found were mine and that I had a current legitimate prescription from my Dr. I went to pharmacy and had them print out all my current meds, then Dr.s records, whatever it took. Then they dropped the charges. I think it has to do with a nice judge.

I'm sure there are others here with a far more helpful perspective on this than I can offer; I just want to say I'm sorry to hear that and it totally sucks. As if life isn't filled with enough stress. The whole thing sounds so unnecessary, and the neighbor aspect is the icing on the cake. Sorry about all that, Dennise.

I even carry a list from my insurance company showing my list of meds (cause they are many) and they can pull a count on me at any time and I will always exceed what I should have so they certainly can't accuse me of selling or something stupid like that (ain't happening). It's just not right and I feel so guilty this girl spent 2 nights on a concrete floor in a pod with 15 other women not to mention a $6000 bond for something that I did. Innocently but I did....

Actually it is called Crook county by one of the neighboring counties and this particular Deputy has quite a reputation. He told her when she asked why he stopped her that she had almost driven off the road... She says it isn't so. I don't know why he stopped her.....

First of all, you did not do this to her. Shiznit happens. If she was driving off the road, his video camera should have that, right? Or are you in one of these typical backwater counties which has Yosemite Sam for a sheriff? We have that here too. Dumb "rhymes with trucks."

So see if you can find out if indeed this patrol car was equipped with a CAM.

Pheewww... Sheriff Andy Taylor would'nt even be comfortable with these yahoo's... This is about as backwards as you can get in the state I live in and you know that is pretty well of the beaten path. This Deputy's girlfriend got fired from a friend of my fella's restaurant and she called her bf and he stood in the restaurant with his hand on his pistol while the girl ripped the restaurant apart. What was owner of the place going to do? Not a dang thing. This same Deputy was just off on suspension for harassment. Have no idea the circumstances of the charges but know he was suspended for 2 weeks. The stories go on and on but they never stop. This is police from the 1970's for sure. The only thing that has me not just selling and moving now is the fact he and his father both told me before this that he never messes with his neighbors for obvious reasons but feel it may change when he realizes it is me in court with the girl he arrested.... Give a punk a badge and a gun and he is still a punk.....

Wow Lady Dee, you can't make this stuff up. Remind me to never visit. But real talk; You don't speak to any officer or judge. What you do is take the paper work for your RXs to her lawyer & explain the whole situation to him. He'll know what to say & do. That's why they call them Mouthpieces. You should never speak to anyone but the lawyer no matter how small or large the case is.

Basically, the cop did an illegal search. He stopped her based on his assertion she was driving recklessly. So what part of that give a cop permission to empty your bag? That does not fly with me. They would have had to handcuff me and arrest me before they searched my car based on a traffic stop.

I hate to say this because I know it is only a few bad apples, but in the south, the cops are real pri(ks. All hat, no cattle.

BAR and Latin have it right tell the lawyer everything and if the judge is halfway decent he should dismiss the case. If he puts it forward for trial then it's a whole other matter. The cost goes up exponentially because then you have to pay for every little thing down to the minute even in a simple case such as this. Sorry, I don't mean to be a downer, but deciding to plead Not Guilty and win, the cop could make life miserable for showing him up on his turf. It ain't like he gets fired for screwing with you, the only recourse then is to make complaints at the police department, but here again, if it's that small any other cops will side with him so I'd say you have a lot to think about. Seeking Justice is a loud affair at the same time keeping your mouth shut will only keep you safe for so long. Good Luck Denise, I hope it all works out for the best.

Got my ProMix BX yesterday along with some mylar replacing the tin foil in the grow room. My 60x-100x handheld microscope is coming Friday along with some micro sheers I didn't tell the wife about, so be quite if anyone asks. I enjoy all the cool gardening tech but the wife is getting a little peaved at the cost and me always wanting the next thing. I just need to harvest the current grow then I can get started on the next, hopefully 3-4 weeks depending on trichome development. I'm praying for you and your friend so I'm sure things will work out. Thanks guys... You all just made me feel like I made the right decisions here. I talked to the attorney today and he has gotten the arrest records and I emailed him my RX list from my doctor. He seems to think he can have this all dropped and advised me to keep my big mouth shut. Actually in those exact words. The attorney I found was the DA until 3 years ago when he retired into private practice so he knows exactly who did what when and obviously knows this county well so hopefully this won't cost me an arm and a leg and it will just be thrown out. Just got to get the guilt part dealt with. I can't seem to figure out how to make it right for her that she was locked up for 2 1/2 days in a known hell hole. The work house here is called the glamour slammer but the county jail is horrible. I've never been anywhere that put women in bullpens and made them sleep on concrete floors with 15 other inmates. I haven't been to jail in over 30 years and they were just stupid stuff overnight in a big city... not that I ever want to go back to jail there. It wasn't any fun in the 80's but I was some what of a wild child....
Any who I brought the Garden girl in and she is really looking better after 2 days in the house. We are breaking heat records here and have had no rain... 6" under normal rain fall.... I have the AK flux where she is not hammered by the hot sun but there was just no where to put the Garden girl that #1 I wasn't paranoid and #2 that she was not getting all sun all day and I was having to water her twice a day and she was starting to look and feel funny so I am brewing up some worm casting tea for her that should be ready about 3 today. I am going to give her a good drink of it and do a foliage spray and see if it helps. I am also going to give a drink of it to the AK flux still outside. I took 5 gallons of purified water and put it in a 5 gallon bucket then added a quart of Red Bud worm castings, 2 Tbsp Fish emulsion and 2 Tbsp of molasses then used a air stone and pump in the water for 24 hours. This is the first time I have ever used worm tea so we shall see if it works......
