Dennise Growing Under A Znet4 In Soilless Medium With Growology

Got a bit of an update of the Wild Thai... She was watered yesterday making her 40 days in bloom with full strength step 3 Growology and 1 tsp cal/mag per gallon of purified water and I gave her the whole gallon..... I think she is absolutely beautiful. The sugar is already so thick it is gooey. I can't wait to see what she looks like at harvest time. I don't know if it is the genetics, the light or the nutes or the combination of the 3 but looks like this is going to be the best so far if I don't flux it up now.......:circle-of-love:

I had to go measure her King but she is about 39" tall and totally fills the 24"x24" tent . I am pretty sure she is done with her stretch and starting to put on weight. I was told there were 2 different genetic types of the Wild Thai.... one which is crappy and one that has strong limbs and good genetics and apparently I got lucky and got the good genetics. I certainly have never seen one of my girls throw sugar this hard and heavy and her branches are long and thick so I am hoping that means they will load up with some huge buds. I am going to do the second defoliation on her in 5 days to make sure she get good penetration for the final push but so far the ZNet4 has kicked butt. There is no neon green at the bottom buds and growth at all. I really am impressed with this light. I know it's not a monster like yours but for my little spaces it is great IMO......:circle-of-love:

I think she has pretty much finished her stretch and I did do some LST on her when she was in veg to be able to keep her canopy somewhat level and to control her height.....:circle-of-love:

I actually did quite a bit of LST on my sativa as well during veg, and they just keep on growing. Its 47 days into flower, and I THINK shes finished her stretch, but thats cause i had to snip a few tops off that got crispy sitting against the glass housing for the light as well as tie down some tops to the scrog to keep the canopy as level as i could, but to no avail. Dont know what your flowering time is on your Wild Thai, but everything i read about my sativa is saying 12-16 weeks (almost 7 weeks in right now when i have 3 strains that are like 3 weeks or less away) I'm really trying to be patient and wait, but i want to have my grow go as perpetual as possible and have no downtime between harvesting and putting plants into flower. the amount the plant grew in size once light schedule was changed was almost 3 fold! My Sativa mother i have in veg right now is well over 3 feet tall, and i'm certain once she goes under 12/12, she will hit the 5'+ mark. I've had to top her in 25+ places over the last week i been home from vegas!

I will be sure to invite everyone to that journal once i have it going, because I have a feeling this will be a plant that will have people talking about!

Keep on growing :)
Thanks Rad... She is amazing me so far....:circle-of-love:
The Thai is a sativa so won't you have to flower for another 45 or so?
Probably... The breeder time is 80-90 days and usually it is a bit longer than they say I think so it will be ready when she's ready. It's a lot easier to be calm about a month and a half when you have a bunch of full jars to get ya through..... Not to mention she is looking like she will be worth waiting for.....:circle-of-love:

My Wild Thai plant took 133 days, 87 which were under 12/12. But I did have some issues half way through flowering. I'm a firm believer in it's about whether a plant is ready or not as opposed to how old it is.

I agree with you, I had thought the Thai was in flower for only 47 days, my mistake. She is really chuckin' out the resin. Were you going for variety with this plant, to have some energetic bud in the collection?

Nope, I just looked up one day and a gorgeous lady bird drop them off. LOL
:loopy:

Just out of curiosity, how do you prepare your ProMix to get it ready for cannabis plants? So far I've got, 60% ProMix, 20% Perlite, 20% Vermiculite, and step one growology, mix and put in 5 gallon pot/bucket. Then are you supposed to run water through to get PH run-off to make sure the PH level is appropriate? Yes, No, Maybe so? How do you get yours ready? Is PH a concern for you with the growology or has it been keeping the medium in check?

Morning Dennise. :ciao:

Your Wild Thai is looking sexy as ever. Must take after her momma. ;) Excellent work!

I must say that I've always been an LED doubter. Not that they didn't work, just that the cost didn't equal the output. But watching your grow and several others here, I now think there are lower budget lights that are working very well and that my opinion is changing. :)
Hope your having a Spliffy Day!!

I have 8 jars of dankness to get me through the non-harvest times now so am just going to let her rippen to her full potency....:yahoo:....:circle-of-love:
