Deege420 Outdoor Garden

re: Deege420 Outdoor Garden

I have Never Sprayed for Bugs, Or Not in a Long While Defoliated My Plants. I was Mentored By a Grower To let the Predatory Insects take care of the Plant Eating Ones, and they always Have. Outdoors You are always going to get an Occasional Leaf that might get chomped on a little, or a lot, but never to the Point where You should Have to Spray!!! Spraying KILLS ALL THE INSECTS INDISCRIMINATELY, meaning you have to spray again because You Killed all of the Predatory Bugs!!!:hmmmm: Not a Good Thing In My Eyes. As far Defoliating Goes, Of Course Your Plants are gonna look like They are putting Out More Growth, because You just Removed All of the GOOD Leaves that are on Your Plant. Plant Leaves act as Solar Receptors, Nutrient Filters and an Emergency Water Supply for when You Forget to Water(OR JUST DO NOT FEEL LIKE DOING IT THAT DAY!!!), And as far as Leaves Blocking the Light from Lower Branches, who is to say that said leaf is Not Providing Energy to the Lower Top!!!:goof: Eventually, that top will Grow Past the Leaf on it's own Anyways. Also, when the Plant is Finished Using a Leaf, it will Yellow or Wither, and You can remove it Then!!! I think People have an inherent urge to try and Mess with things, and not always to said Things Betterment!!!:;): But this is Just how I was taught to grow, and I do not have any of the issues You Guys' complain about with My Plants, for 20 Years I might Mention!!!:high-five: But To Each Grower His Own. There is a phrase used in the Military called KISS, or Keep It Simple Stupid. Translated for Growing, Grow in the easiest, simplest and best way, that You cannot Screw Up!!! I have found that This Works for Me, and the Mentor that taught Me as Well!!! Never have had a BAD Harvest:wood:. Please do not think I am Bragging, I am just trying to say that a lot of the things that You worry About, if Mother Nature is Left to run Her Course, will work themselves Out, to You and the Plants Benefit!!!:blalol: Please take a look at My Plants, and Judge for Yourselves. re: Deege420 Outdoor Garden

Deege, I just Perused Your Site, and i could not possibly cover every Page, I am SORRY!!!:thedoubletake: But I tried as best I could!!!:high-five: Everything looks Great to Me, I would not have Topped or Femmed or Super Cropped ETC.:cheesygrinsmiley:, but hey, that is JUST ME!!! I left several Posts in Your Thread, On Earlier Parts of Your Thread Today, so You might have to look for Them, but they are there, and I left My own Tid-Bits of Knowledge Throughout it. So Please Go A Searching, and read what I had to say!!!:circle-of-love: I tried to leave GOOD Advice for You, but You May Not Agree with all I have to Say, but what I did say, was based on My own Empirical Evidence, and I would not try to Steer You The Wrong Way, I Promise, On MY Honor!!!:theband: I really enjoyed what I got to read, and will keep up with everything from this point onwards!!!:phew: Take Care Deege. re: Deege420 Outdoor Garden

Thanks Deege, A Lot of Knowledge Yes, The Word Of God...NO!!!:yahoo: I just Try To Pass on what I Really Learned, but that can always be argued with or Disputed, By Someone Else!!!:thedoubletake: I Just Give What I Have Learned Exactly Like It Happened to Me, Basically I Just Tell The Truth, Or My Interpretation Of It Anyways!!! Which I Learned is the best way of doing Things!!! TRUTH, THE ULTIMATE ARBITER!!!LOL! But since for Each of us, usually our Perception is Our reality, What I might Perceive, someone else May/Does not Perceive in the same way!!!:high-five: That is why We all Have Different ways of Looking At Things!!! Man I am Getting Way Too Deep!!!:hmmmm:Sorry For Prattlen, Again!!! I can see all the Hard Work that You Have Put Behind This Journal, And Can Appreciate All The Hours Of Effort That Went Into It, It Is An Effort Worthy Of Praise!!!:cheer: I Commend You Sir, On Your Effort And Aggravation In Compiling This Missive!!!:bravo: We all have a lot More To Learn, When We Stop Learning, Intellectually We Die, Never Forget That!!!:goodjob: Thank You For The Reps, They Are Much Appreciated My Friend!!! re: Deege420 Outdoor Garden

the only thing i can add about the seeds is that it is starting to be known that handling germinating seeds does stress them and causes more males to be grown, the transplant of the seed from the paper towel to the pot does stress it, you dont see the fine roots on the tap root and these become damaged, even placing them in the pot damages the root in some way as your placing it on a rough surface that is has not started off in, now i have always used the paper towel method, but now i put them strait in the soil, the ak47 cross uk cheese i soaked before took about 5 days to pop the seeds, now i planted 2 strait into soil and after 2 days both had grown out the soil, so it seems quicker as well, i also struggled to get females with the ak cross, so out of 6 seed i only had 1 fem and 1 unknown so ill see how these 2 turn out.
the unknown is my oudoor plant, i planted this ages ago and was going to check on it every week in case it needed any water, but as its been pretty wet here i have not checked on it, it must be nearly 2 months now, the problem is the land i walk over to get to my outdoor plant is very boggy and is flooded due to the crappy weather, my plant is on higher ground and hopefully still growing, but ant check on it yet, if its gone then its gone, i had to many plants so planted it outside, if its grown and is female then that will be huge bonus, but im expecting it to have died, as soon as i can check ill let you know

re: Deege420 Outdoor Garden

it still to wet to venture across it, the plants are planted on higher ground, so hoping they have survived the heavy rain and should be ok, but you never know, they might not be their anymore, im hoping they are and hoping they are fem, if they are gone its not a huge loss as i needed to get my plant numbers down so planted them out doors, just need a few dry days to go and check on them

re: Deege420 Outdoor Garden

Citrus smells are suppose to help with mosquitos, maybe grow some garlic? That's a hard question, I have a question for you, how do you water your garden? Do you have a hose within range, seemed like a long walk. I loved the video, I thought the mosquitos problems with you slapping at them made your video that much more interesting, not just another utube update, I like it. Oh, and your grow is Beautiful, what are your nutes?grace:bravo:

re: Deege420 Outdoor Garden

I blame the shakiness on the damn mosquitos! Anyone got good ideas to kill MASS amounts of mosquito population?
D, are the problems you have with the mosquitos causing a problem with your garden, or is it the fact that they're eating you alive? If it just affects you then a product sold by Avon may help you, it's called Skin so Soft, the mosquitos are repelled by it's smell.

Get a mosquito hat with a net to cover your head/hope this helps/grace

Haha. well its no fun for me. I get eaten alive! today was an especially bad day! As far as watering. that my friend is no fun. I lug out ALOT of water. but this time a year is rain season so we normally get rain once a day for a bit and I add w.e water or nutes that is needed. I would need prob a 4 acres of hose to get water out there. usually I go the redneck way on BIG water days and drive the tractor out there:thumb: :Namaste:

re: Deege420 Outdoor Garden

I don't know if this may help you, but you know those elastic knee bands that athletes, and weight lifters use, well I picked up a box of 8 of those for like 6.00 on ebay. You could try pulling these up your legs when getting near the mosquitos, you could use 3 or 4 of these on each leg, I bought them for my mother-in-law's arithic 89 year old knees, now I use them too. Hope this may help you.grace
