Man the Gorilla Zkittles look dipped! mmmmmm
It tastes as wild as it looks too, which is nice. For some reason I never notice the dog hairs on a photo until I’ve uploaded it.
Yes, the GZ is on day 67 now and showing more ambers than the SAGE n’ Sour which is on day 74. I need to knuckle down this afternoon and get some trimming and washing done.

Time to roll that next joint and then roll up your sleeves and get it done DD!:rollit:
The next joint is underway no worries. Plans have been derailed somewhat by a vet appointment and other things.
We’ll roll with it!
Cheers, Koro.

Got SAGE n’ Sour trimmed and washed. It’s hanging now. It’ll get stripped into paper bags for the fridge tomorrow.
:cheer:
Also hanging today is the four month old GA3xBubba’s Sis experiment. I’ve got a tray underneath her in the spot I used to dry in. I’ll let her dry til the weekend and have a look through.
:cheer:
I’ll be giving the Chem 91 and Star Killer OG pots tomorrow and a spot each in the veg tent. Sour Bubba still has only one visible root, though it’s reached the bottom of the cup now.
:cheer:
The Panama will get her second topping too. Her second set has caught up to the restrained top. She’s got some hearty looking cuts to give up for clones too so we’ll get that done as well.
:passitleft:
Only four in the flower room now

I always love the tour through your garden DD, even if I don't always mention it.

That Wedding Cake cross stopped me dead in my scrolling...thought it was an aerial view of an English garden.

Nice seed, and good luck on the seed hunt with the GA3xBubba’s Sis experiment.
Eddie, can you dim the house lights for us?
I turned the light up
So Eddie is in charge of dimming and you're in charge of turning them up? Unions be crazy in NZ!
Only four in the flower room now
The one thing you don't show us a picture of?

I'm curious about the paper bag method and how it works or how to do it correctly

Thanks for taking a moment to say so, I appreciate it.

I won’t be running her again until the next time I pop one of her seeds. If you’re after more WCxCT eye candy, @Dohc007 has some coming on. Tap the link in his sig.

‘Sall about demarcation, innit? More’n my job’s worf...
Unions be crazy in NZ!
Not as crazy as Rosie!

Wait till you meet the H&S officer Rosie!
It’d be a funny old world if we were all the same. Especially if we were all the same as her!
The one thing you don't show us a picture of?
Hmm, yeah. I don’t know if these make up for it...

It didn’t last long with four. Here is today’s new addition - we have lift off on a Space Needle. She’s the new one in the back. On the left, Bubba’s Sis. On the right, CPK.

And across the tops with OG Kush and Gorilla Zkittlez in front.

I'm curious about the paper bag method and how it works or how to do it correctly

The ‘cure’ link in my sig should lead to DrZiggy’s low and slow method for fridge drying. Next time you need some reading. A lot of the R&D and science behind it is in there.

I use sandwich bags and put 30g fresh bud in each bag.

On biscuit racks for air circulation. I only have one plant in there atm so we are only one layer deep on each shelf. When it fills up I’ll stack the racks on each shelf so nothing presses down on anything else.

Each bag gets turned each day with a bit of a jiggle to de-clump. The closed paper bag is an important part of humidity control at the bud. The science is there to read for a better understanding, but if you just want to go ahead and try out the fridge dry go ahead. You’re likely to pull it out a few days too early the first time you do it. They outsides get crispy, but fluff up again beautifully in the jar.

For every four bags I put in fresh I get just over an ounce back.

Above 70% in the jar, back in a bag in the fridge overnight. Under 50% you’ve missed the cure window. Once RH settles (62% is our target) cure as normal.

Does that help?

Also today:

Now that her roots were all that, she was taking up real estate on the heat mat.

Because Star Killer OG has a bit of Skywalker OG behind it I get to make this silly joke.

And I hope they love it under their new light.

The Panama tapes, ongoing:

I really would rather not fuss about domes when I take cuts. I find if they don’t fall over in a wilt in their first hour or two, they’ll usually make it.

Thanks for visiting!
See youse :headbanger:

I'm searching every day for a garage fridge:Namaste::thumb:
I meant to say above - a frost free fridge is what you’re looking for. It’s been a long time since I last saw the older style fridge you used to have to defrost. I know you know, coz we’ve been over it, but just want to clarify for the reader.

Yes very informative helpful comment on the bag cure , with pictures!!!!! I always here about great success with the paper bag , grandpa will be using this method with his Tahoe hopefully he chops this weekend !!!!! And will have some bud ready for may long weekend !!!!!!!! The racks for air circulation will be used , I'm hoping for a slower dry with having no humidity where I live , the humidifier is usually out of water in an hour , and are you stopping that sassy sativa from joining the NBA? Wow did your panama grow brother!!!!!!! You think I would of realized you have a link called cure considering I've clicked on vpd for memory refreshers multiple times ,,,,,, I rate your reply a 10/10

Panama

Yesterday when I posted this..

.. she was flat across her top. This morning she had a dome shape as the four first nodes on the two top stems had boosted overnight. That’s not what I’m looking for yet so she got spread out again.

This will give each top a bit more social distancing from its immediate neighbours when they get to go vertical, which is now.

I don’t like a lot of ties around a pot. They’re a bit of a nuisance if you’re in a hurry and can lead to avoidable breakages. I did tie down the two I think of as the ‘second set’ - top left and bottom right - and then used the node they were tied from as the anchor point for the top stays.
