A Weekend What’s Up
Hey 420.
Yesterday I trimmed and washed two plants. This is the last photo of one of them, from the day before she came down.
I love the structure of this plant, she’s very robust and takes training well. Here the spreader bars keep her open, then two stakes with a cord around her to support her heavy colas this time.
This was the wash bucket. Ew. Kind of unbelievable so much gunk accumulated. I’m a convert. Washed is better.
Here’s my favourite trimmers @Regrowth they just pinch together. A donkey can go all day with these babies.
Judging by the wet weight this will be over two and a half ounces dry
Our OG Kush (thanks @Dohc007 ) got her final pot today. She’s on the right. Her ties came off today. Now she gets to reach while she fills her pot for the next week or two.
So stoked for both of them!
This one’s older sister came down yesterday too. She has a decent potency and tastes incredible. She fills the garden with the most delicious incense smell.
She’s from Barney’s Farm who are sponsors. Great gear.
Only five in flower
plus the [reversal/GA3 experiment].
It’s been good to get a little more air flow while I’ve been dealing with the recent PM issues.

it’s been fun watching a tracker from @Weed Seeds Express following the Girl Scout Cookie seeds from the other side of the world. It amazes me.

Love that spreader bar on Bubba sis !!!! I now know how I'm going to LST without poking holes in my fabric pots ,,,,,,,,and and new shoes brotherrrrrrrr the stressful seedling stage is now over!!!!!!!!!! And dam you and that chonkey WW after seeing one in the photo contest and seing how chonky yours is already I decided to drop a ww bean in a cup , and I'm repeating myself but I'm still amazed with the structure difference between the 2 little ones

Is it true that bud washing doesn’t harm the trichomes? Oh, and your stable is magnificent.
I seen a thread a few weeks ago where someone dumped their wash buckets through a bubble bag and there was quite a few trichomes that got collected but how much you lose might depend on how vigorously you wash and the water temperature. It's a compromise but after seeing all that other stuff in the bucket I think it's warranted especially if you've been battling pest or mildew.

It’s funny. I started up the Panama with the HashFart inspirado, now we’re even.
Dogs had epic walks yesterday, today we are poured around the fire happy to have a day off.
Can’t help wondering what the new two are gonna do, but a varied enough stash to tide me over, no worries.

(It would be facetious to add that the trichomes collected in the bubble bag were undamaged so i wont).
I think you lose more trichomes through the kief screen in your grinder, as far as affecting potency goes.
I would put the flower to an extract in a heartbeat if the potency was diminished (not if the mildew problem wasn’t remedied, though). Experience of past washes, and a few air dried samples from this harvest (tried today) suggests we’ll be ok.
It’s not much more than a humble four by four, but I’m super proud of it for sure.

I took the tops off the little ones today.
They’ll start their quadforms as soon as their little branches get going. Three or four nodes up and we’ll take their lowers for clones and see how they look.

There are days of donkey darkness. I call these nights. And then there are days of donkey daylight. There have been a few of the latter of late and some I need to relate.
Boo-yaa!! 
Seeds have been started along with my new journal so come play over there too if you like.
Too tired to blow the GSC trumpet any harder right now. Everything I’ve had to say about them so far is over there.
Speaking of coming to play the Stable had a visit from @Dohc007
Lots of 420 fun was had. It’s a very social medicine after all.
There was Alaskan Purple and C99xBlueberry rosin as well which I’m still enjoying.
Here are the cuttings and planted GSC seeds all on a new heat mat.
The Chem91 in the centre of the picture is rich with roots! She showed on Saturday and she has been busy since. Thank goodness, I mean @syenite !
