What are the spikes for?

Great tutorial and transplant otter! Two questions:
Did you know that guano has fewer letters than batshit, though batshit is much funnier on the label?
Were you wearing your 420mg t-shirt when you transplanted?

Soylent green+ ? New improved formula!
Yes, I was writing directly from the recipe. That's both more amusing and thematically correct. Of course I was wearing it. It's my weed doing stuff in shirt. Kinda like lucky underwear but better. No, not better. Hah, soylent green. Have some num nummo anyone? Am I in the right story?

Of course I was wearing it
Of course you were...that's why I asked:

What are the spikes for?
Hi HashGirl, they're a way to put more food in the soil and not burn the plant. This Living organic soil can hold a ton of nutrients since I feed the soil and not the plant I can put a load of amendment the soil will want later. The roots will find it and figure it all out as things go along. If I mixed it in today or cooked it even, the soil would be too much for a plant to survive. Put it in spikes and it gets used along the way over time. Keeps pot size down I suppose too.

Cool! So they're sort of like the fertilizer spikes that are sold for flowers and veggies except reusable? Way cool. :welldone: Stone.

Finally caught up on here, SO!

Sorry to hear about the damping off and rodent issues. Hope the cat can mitigate some of that.

So very excited about your Neville's Haze. I think she will flower.. whenever the hell she feels like?

:high-five:
I'm with you, she's something completely different. I'm thrilled to watch how she develops. Her color is electric! Even hungry as I think she is before the pot up.

UPDATE
GODFATHER OG X STANKBERRY SEEDED BUDS

Good afternoon! This little Godfather OG has been hanging for 8 days today and I cut all the buds off and de seeded the pollinated sections. The bud is in a jar, about an ounce, and she gave me 53 seeds. Some of them look fine some not so much. Maybe the pollen was old or maybe she's playing hard to replicate, I don't know but I'm a happy man with these crosses. Stankfather is the new name and I have high expectations!
The bud came out so Godfather OG! Dense and dripping!

Seeds came in at around 53 or 4. Some look unfinished and I had to huck them. Only a few have good dark color and lines. Not all seeds get to be dark and lined so time will tell how these are going to turn out.

Did I mention I'm a Lucky Ducky?

especially with a patrolling duck who is reportedly very lucky!
That ducky is indeed lucky. He used to live with me!
I have his twin on my dresser.
Remember...you can't make a "V" with only two ducks. It's impossible.

How you doin??
:passitleft:

He's my Luck Guard Ducky for special grandpa glue and african seeds. I wouldn't want to cross him! He says high and wants to come home one day for a visit, maybe do some seed guarding back home. Maybe in the fall he'll have some guarding to do your way.
Hmmm i can't make a V with only two ducks. Took me 15 minutes because I'm slow on thursdays. Flighty actually :kisstwo:, speaking of that, we still have geese around and a few ducks I noticed the other day. The place got touched by Mother Nature's wand last night. Looks chilly out the front window. Not bad today, You?

Beautiful and brrrrr!
Yeah, ya have to nuts to live here. Speaking of nuts, the lady Neville arrived yesterday I think. I've been on pistol watch and today I saw them. I referenced a pic from yesterday that was out of focus and I believe they were there yesterday. So 16 weeks from yesterday she should be heavy and greasy!

I'm glad too! I'm also not sure it was the mouse, but it's a good contender. You're right about them always having backups. Got one 2 days ago in the attic. This is the cellar. I set the trap again. Mmmmm peanut butter! I just don't want to be luring them in with it. I wonder if they can smell that tiny spot from outdoors? That's crazy thought huh?

Are you planning your garden yet? Any cultivars picked ?
SO...my garage scoreboard on mouse relocations this winter...raw peanuts in the shell for the win. I also see whiteboard notes from last summer on 4 pheno from my 2nd grow Corleone Kush. Beady eyed critters gotta stay outside.

Hey Dutch. I'm all test all the time right now. So I set the trap and have a pitiful last living plant to try and protect. We're trying to figure how the're getting in. They always come in for winter. I kill around a dozen a year give or take 6. This year is no different except that I'm growing outside of a tent I think. They don't seem interested in any of the amendments down there. Nothing gets broken into that I can tell. There's no food open or breachable. I'm pretty sure growing out of a tent offers an opportunity they otherwise don't get. Trap stays for a while. Good news! Our daughter and her man will be moving in the apartment down there on Saturday for a short cash building stay. They bring a cat with them! She's already proven a good mouser here last year when we took care of her for a week.
SO...chalk it up to sneaky stealthy night vision bastards...I moved my game cam to the garage for a bit and found a whole new passion to relocate the few that dare to mess with advanced technology
