Dark Matter, Red Sky, Chunky Cherry Thai, BP Skunk In LOS

This post are the basic mixing instructions I got from Chris:

But he had me cut every measurement in half because there is no need to end up with that much A and B solution, given how little you need of each. Particularly if you're just doing a single branch.

So for me it was
.25g Silver Nitrate
1.25 Silver Thiosulfate
each into their own
250ml distilled water, for the A and B.

Then it was
25ml of A into
25ml of B
mixed with
450ml distilled water
for a 500ml bottle of STS spray.

I sprayed every 4 days, starting 8 days before flip, so on flip day it got its third spray. Then every 4 days after that until you see pollen sacs start to form. Then you can stop.

Cover the soil to prevent the roots from getting wet. I used the cut paper plate method!

I think spraying at or close to lights out is best.
Thanks! I thought a gallon was overkill too. Every 4 days then, looks like Katsu threw a screw ball at us leaving any secondary spraying out!

For anyones curiosity, I found one our own,"Smokin Moose's" post from a while ago, 2007. It's where Katsu poached all the information posted in his article dated 2019 where I got my initial info from. So Smokin Moose for the win and c'mon Katsu, you can do better than that!

MID WEEK UPDATE STILL VEGGING

Hi all, she's kicking away! I've been bending her tops level every day and it seems to be keeping height down and she's turning to a bush! Lots of rain interrupted by intense heat this week or more. @Geoflora fed and like a horse healthy today!

This one's growing way different than the mother in the tent. All its branches have branches in place of the swords that grew. Pretty cool! It's fun to watch how they grow!
:meatballs::goodluck: loving life :)

IT'S FEEDING DAY UPDATE!

Hey all. another two weeks fly by and another 3 cups of @GeoFlora Nutrients Veg. goes on top of the soil. This time I laid a layer of compost on top of it as well. Worm city in there, YUM! Let's see what this does if the sun comes back this year. Nothing but raiin for what seems like weeks now. No PM yet, temps must be off for that. I wasn't able to water it in, too wet, but it'll get there soon enough.
here she sits today.

Beautiful outdoor Stankberry! :green_heart:

I wish we could have some of your rain. We only had 39 wet days for the entire year for a total of 5.2 inches (132mm). :(

She's going to be a Biggun' Stone... when I used to grow outside, I had to start them around Memorial Weekend or they just get to big for a residential spot(seed). I would keep them as flat as possible around 30 inches and they still blow up to 72-80 inches no problem. You have your hands full friend, guaranteed well over a pound coming your way. That trunk is thick already and it hasn't flipped yet. If you LST(bend over in the morning and once in the evening) those top nodes, the other lower tops will catch up and the top main branches will continue to grow big anyway(thicker instead of taller). Anyway you slice it friend... she's going to be a GIVER FIR Sure! :passitleft:

I'm guessing your plant is probably 4.5 feet tall already. My old outdoor plants if I hit 6 feet(usually slightly over) and almost as wide, definitely a pounder(Minimum). If it's closer to 7 feet, just about 1.5 no problem.

Wow! Your Stankberry sure has grown since your last update. Next update we won't be able to see the hook at all. Nice work.

We're getting lots of rain the past 2 weeks, too. That's why I wanted to use GF for our outside grow since watering it in is something that could be achieved with all the rain we've had lately.

It's crazy Beez. The States could use a rebalance of our weather! The west burns on again this year again too. Gulf states washed out early. Let's hope something good comes of it.
Great find on the Smokin Moose post (who also only mentions a single spray)!

And that outside beauty is loving life. Well done. :thumb:

I'm reading on something from the American Society for Horticultural Science. This paper tries different tacks to get it done with STS (there's a summary in the end). I'm leaning towards every 4 days for one tester, and another time for the other. Something like 10 days possibly. That could tell a good story I think.

She's found happiness and showing it! I'm pretty sure I haven't watered in two weeks too. Our mother's been doing it for me.
Hah, I haven't been reaching up( neck degen) to spread the tops out so she is getting tall. I'm afraid to tie a stick on to keep them spread out in the weather so upward we go. I'm letting go! ;)

Highya SO,

What a gorgeous structure on that StankBerry! Very bushy! You must've topped her. Is she 5' yet? She looks nice, man! Happy Smokin'

Hey Johnny, She's a happy camper! I would continue to bend but I can't work above my shoulders without physical consequences so she's on her own now. A pound sounds sweet to me!

Highya SO,

My ladies are all 6', and still mixed with dudes. It seems they're stretching now, so the males should show themselves real soon. I plant 2-4 per "hill" to get the best female from each hill (male and female seeds). And yes, they're filling out structure wise. Hope you get some sun today!! Happy Smokin'

That's great! You're in for some fine herb. Yes what a beautiful sunny afternoon! I haven't seen her this green in a week! Take care.

GOOD SATURDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE

Hi all! We just returned from a beautiful visit to the great state of Maine! A couple of days on short sands beach with sunny weather really was what the dr ordered.

Now back to helping grow this Stankberry lady, not that she needs me. I'm still not seeing flowering kicking in but in the two days away she grew about 10 inches. I'm going out on a limb and thinking stretch is on!

Now to figure when to feed for flowering. Right now I'm thinking to wait and give her the regular dose of Geoflora veg on Wednesday and leave it be for two more weeks and asses then. Middle of August should be flowering time start. Here she is today as I gave her a drink after two sunny days.

I hope you all had a great weekend and your grows are well!

Jeez! The hook is certainly out of the picture now.

No ladder, eh? You must have some very tall assistants. :laughtwo:
