Hello Stone. Really nice growing in the sunshine brother! She's a beauty. :yummy:
Smile and stay stoneder.

Good morning Mr. S! Outdoors for the win! I hope to have a few of those myself next year but I'm stuck with synthetic sun and wind for the time being. Looking great as usual, thank you for your awesome support for so many people here! CHeers! :yahoo:

Hey Pbass what a nice thing to say! I'm glad I went out this year! Happy 4th!

MID WEEK UPDATE STILL VEGGING

Hi all, she's kicking away! I've been bending her tops level every day and it seems to be keeping height down and she's turning to a bush! Lots of rain interrupted by intense heat this week or more. @Geoflora fed and like a horse healthy today!

This one's growing way different than the mother in the tent. All its branches have branches in place of the swords that grew. Pretty cool! It's fun to watch how they grow!

Good work keeping the height in check! That is one beautiful bush. :thumb:

And I'll bet the roots are twice as wide as the original hole you dug.
I'm going to have to change my watering pattern then when it stops raining ;) . Hmmm, if that's the case then why not try feeding outside the perimeter of my hole with what would be for the extra volume?
Beautiful plant, Ott. Many of us are living vicariously through you.
Thanks Azi, I appreciate that as I do the same at times.
Glorious stankberry outdoors Stone! I cannot wait to see that beast after stretch!!
I keep forgetting about stretch! She's an interesting watch. Thanks heavenly!

ALL THUMBS AND A BULL IN A CHINA SHOP UPDATE

I was enjoying @Caingrow31 's journal and found a helpful way to not tip over solo cups. I'm always looking for things like this. Thanks Caingrow!

I'll have a much harder time knocking a solo over if it's nestled in a pvc pipe hole.

You mentioned moths and triggered a memory of one outdoor season maybe 5 years ago or so and this brown recluse setup a perimeter of webs from the top of the shed all the way across to my huge tomato cages(I grow monster tomatoes that yield crazy amounts of fruit) and surrounded my grow just waiting for them moths. Crazy how insects have impeccable instinct and the ability to setup a trap like that is remarkable. He didn't bother me so I let em' put in work(Might as Well). Didn't have many bud worms that year.

I have a pic of the spider somewhere buried in the Abyss of Jpegs. :lot-o-toke:

That's cool Johnnie! I like watching things like that! Might as well set up house overlooking dinner!

Good day everyone! It's another rain day here in the east, while the west coast drys up and burns on. Go figure.
Anyway, changing sex is on the front burner again again and I want to ask some questions.

Is this,"
Part A: .5 gram silver nitrate stirred into 500ml distilled water
Part B: 2.5 grams sodium thiosulfate (anhydrous) stirred into 500ml distilled water"

the same mixing amounts you're using?

And, The directions Katsu Bluebird mention only one application. Is that the way you had success?

From Katsu Bluebird
"Application:
The STS working solution is sprayed on select female plants until runoff. Do the spraying over newspaper in a separate area from the flower room. You probably won’t smell anything, but ventilate anyway. You now have what I call a “F>M plant”; a female plant that will produce male flowers."

Hardly seems enough but I'll take it if so! Thanks !

This post are the basic mixing instructions I got from Chris:

But he had me cut every measurement in half because there is no need to end up with that much A and B solution, given how little you need of each. Particularly if you're just doing a single branch.

So for me it was
.25g Silver Nitrate
1.25 Silver Thiosulfate
each into their own
250ml distilled water, for the A and B.

Then it was
25ml of A into
25ml of B
mixed with
450ml distilled water
for a 500ml bottle of STS spray.

I sprayed every 4 days, starting 8 days before flip, so on flip day it got its third spray. Then every 4 days after that until you see pollen sacs start to form. Then you can stop.

Cover the soil to prevent the roots from getting wet. I used the cut paper plate method!

I think spraying at or close to lights out is best.
