Dark Devil Auto: A Community Grow Record

The hempies are very nice producers and I have not forgot about them. My first indoor grow with them were the best looking ladies I have grown to date, you can check them out in my sig, candy cane and amnesia haze. I haven't had a plant frost up quite like them ones yet from growing in promix, it was crazy. Now all this talk about it is making me want to start one, I have the buckets ready to go when needed lol. It will be in the plans for sure very soon!

I also like the CBD strains that have been coming out lately and they all seem to be very vigorous growers. I have harvested a CB Dream, have another in flower now along with a CB Dutch Treat. And, in the veg room I have a CBD Jam and Purple-Orange CBD. They are all very vigorous growers, more than most of my other plants. CBD Jam looks like it will be a winner, growing the fastest out of 6 started at the same time in veg room.

Great information on the strains. When they started coming out the plants weren't testing true to the claims, but I've noticed of late that the CBD numbers have been more consistent. Woody has me looking at that Purple-Orange CBD, and this was the first I've heard of the CBD Jam. I've been focused on the CBD Critical Cure.

Do you think a community grow thread on the CBD strains is called for?

I had them out for a Transwater drench today and they insisted I get the camera and document their beauty. I couldn't say no.

See what I mean? How do you say no to that? :laughtwo: :green_heart:

Same strain, same seed source. Totally different looks.

Completely mesmerizing, aren't they? I don't think I'll ever tire of growing them.

I'll answer that myself with a "yes". Unless someone else beats me to it I'll have one up by the end of the week. I strongly believe every grow benefits from having at least one in rotation at all times.

I have a huge thread I'm prepping...I'll add it to yers if u start it

Thank you Stavman. :hugs: It's only a matter of when. I've been considering starting it since I started growing the CBD Critical Cures. We need the same sort of resource we have here and for Carnival for CBD strains. They're getting to be exciting beyond resistance. :laughtwo:

I agree

The CBD Jam actually has a surprisingly high CBD level of up to 13% but this varies between 2 pheno's it seems. One giving you a 1:1 ratio and the other being 1:2 THC/CBD. Cross of Marmalate and Carmen and says it can put out up to 600 grams indoors and up to 1000 outdoors.. This may explain why it is growing at such a nice rate :)

Yes, for sure you should start up a thread like that. It would be great to gather all the different strains in 1 thread and be able to compare. Also everyone can then share their knowledge and experiences with different CBD strains either in the garden or how it helped and reacted with each individual.

Them DDA's of your are looking luscious... drools...

That would be perfect, great to know we have someone else on board to start this out. Between the 3 of us that's almost a dozen different CBD strains to start out with and a couple of them we have already flowered out already. I got 2 in flower and 2 in veg.

I haven't decided yet. All I know is that I want the potency of your brownies for my Saturday highs as the Blondies in the freezer just aren't doing it for me these days.

I do have your recipe on standby but I'm thinking I'll probably make Blondies again as I much prefer them to Brownies.

According to this link, the blueberry does have a berry taste

Hmmm.... Does the blueberry have a blueberry flavor? Just curious. I have a recipe for lemon blueberry muffins. I was thinking Blueberry might be an interesting strain in that recipe. :laughtwo: The DDA makes tasty brownies, and they're so dark they look decadent. Are you following my recipe or using a strained oil?

There was about a two week difference between the two when I had the different phenos.

:woohoo: Another cultivator enticed! :slide: You won't regret the choice dynamo1. There are quite a few among us enticed into that first auto experience by these wiley vixens. :laughtwo:

Thanks for the compliment and :welcome to both the garden and to the :420: community. We look forward to sharing your joy. Just wait until you smoke that first bowl..... Oh yeah. Be forewarned, this strain is an addictive grow. Most of us plant the next seed at harvest, if not before. No way do we want to run out of this one. :laughtwo:

I think everyone took off and went to the cbd thread! Lol :passitleft:

Here is my dda at day 17 now, got a new haircut at the 4th node and had her lowest wings clipped off, then I treated her to breakfast with a good feed.

Here is my day 58 update. Everything is still going great and both the leaves and buds are a lovely color of purple. I'm gonna let it go for about 2 more weeks and then keep an eye on it daily and harvest when I have a 50/50 mix of cloudy and amber trichomes.

Hi everyone. I just put 4 DDA beans in water. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions. First how tolerant are they to nutes. I'm in soil. Second I can't find a description of if it's a indica or a hybrid. I'm going to be using 3 gen 1 Mars 300 watt LEDs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey 420growking and welcome to 420 Magazine! That DDA is looking nice and fat, I could only imagine what it might bulk up to in another 2 weeks. Great job!

Hey there, glad to see another DDA grow come to the thread. They seem to tolerate nutes good so far for me but I don't grow in soil either. SweetSue will be able to comment more on this for you I'm sure. As far as indica or hybrid, I'm sure it's a hybrid but can't find anything either on this myself. Anything you need just ask away, I'm sure one of us int his thread can help ya.

Nice looking plant, must have just finished her flower stretch and grown outdoors I'm assuming? Time to watch them buds form :) Good job.
